LA's B team lost to New Orleans without 3 starters.

I hope Kawaii load managements the flippers out of the playoffs. Lakers dodged a bullet there.

Happy about that. But PG had an insane first game back. 33 pts, 10-17 shooting in like 24 minutes. Wow.
Their defense looked unimpressive, though. Even if Kawhi and PG are out there holding down the perimeter, they have no one to protect the paint. Punish them inside and make them shoot jumpers and I think they are not quite as dominant as many think.

Melo went to the best place for him. Blazers run the third most isos in the league and he is an iso guy. Blazers are 4th in mid range attempts. Plus he's replacing Toliver and MArio at the 4. Hope it works for him like Dwight in LA because honestly this is the one stop where MElo can concentrate on doing what MElo did to make his name offense wise. Plus the minutes and starts are there ebcause Blazers have been that horrible.

Yeah I know, Zu has been an elite rim protector for them as far as advance stats dictate but still only logs 15 minutes per game. I'm not sure if he can anchor the defense in the paint.

Being an elite rim protector doesn't mean much when he can't move his body around on pick and roll switches. They'll call a screen with his man every time down the floor. That's why what AD and Dwight are doing on defence is so good.

That, and also Zubac and Harrell are unplayable together, with Harrell being the clearly superior player. Their lack of defense is going to hurt them in the playoffs.

Towns and Wiggins just DGAF about defense. That **** is a disgrace in Minnesota. Yeeesh.

Just to clear capspace for Kawhi because he had the meeting with the Lakers and they thought he'd sign with them. Crazy how much damage Kawhi did to this team.

Yeah.... I really want Wagner back to hold down Howard's spot. He'd be so much better because he can shoot a 3.

Easier to perform in a pressure-less situation.

I'm happy with our team. You want to be excited about a prospect, go watch THT down in the G-League. Dude has moves for days.

Yeah... I've been watching him. You think that translates up here? The G League at times looks like a Rec league. Some guys get up here and do similar things...

He is more than 3 years younger than Wagner, so I think if he keeps working on his conditioning and keeps getting reps he'll be an NBA player for sure.

He reminds me of a PJ Tucker type.

THT has far more skill on the ball than PJ Tucker. He was an analytics darling in the pre draft phase.
