What was Aaron Boones track record as a manager when the Yankees hired him?
How could I judge his track record before they hired Boone? How did you score him without any managerial track record? Which is why I will hold judgment.
As for Beltran, we know him only as a player and what other puff pieces that come out. Every new manager that comes in there's a certain amount of positive feedback from their old employers or past relationships.
Mets are a bit difficult due to our ridiculous coupon clippings from our owner and an unorthodox GM that supposedly meddles during a game to pull certain people out. So yes, my concern is still the same as with Mickey. How will he handle the bullpen and will our lineup make sense?
