Wow complete meltdown by a Spurs team that was cruising throughout most of this game and really dominating. Luckily we had such a great 1st quarter that really gave some cushion on the lead.

Hark! A win! I’d love the Blazers to regroup this road trip and go 4-2 or better.

I can't wait till we trade our 1st Little and Whiteside for LMA in February. A man can dream.

Lillard may have struggled offensively but he definitely did a lot of other things to win this game highest Blazer with a +18 in this game.

Blazers: We take a 23 point lead

Spurs: Hold my beer!

Spurs: We now lead by 15!

Blazers: Hold your own damn beer!

Blazers: We win!

Its been a rough start but to be honest our record would have been the reverse that it is if not for bad injuries and poor shooting droughts from CJ while trying to get a whole new rotation to play with comfort on D.

Defense is only possible when guys are accustomed to each other, and we are missing Collins really really bad right now. Good news is he will be back as will Nurk and probably one of Love/LMA for that playoff push.

We aren't in a bad spot considering this. I'd rather we struggle in November than in March/April.

Obviously Whiteside was a beast to finish out the game but I thought Little made some really nice plays as well. Brought good rebounding and defense. His shot is a work in progress and they were daring him to shoot but if he can improve that he could be a very nice forward. I'm still not sold on him but he made a big step toward winning me over with his energy and good to see him rewarded by closing out the game.

Both teams struggling to secure a lead, I think in today's NBA it is harder than ever to maintain a lead unless you are clearly a very good team.

**** we see even the worst teams in the NBA come back in games against far superior teams it just happens.

We are still struggling to play good offense. We just aren't finding our best shots and we aren't rebounding. We need to figure out a way to move the ball better and get Whiteside in better rebounding position.

Of course. I was just lamenting that Portland’s record could have been better with more balanced quality of play. A win is a win.

Dame missed a lot of shots he often makes, thought we passed better tonight overall, for me our depth is just so lean with Nurk and Zach out, we got too many guys who should not be on an NBA roster or who are 14/15 type roster players. Mario looks awful as does Tolly IMO, Trent is yuck, Skal 14/15 type as well. I like overall how ANT is playing for a 2nd yr 20 yr old and Little I also like what I see, but he is a 19 yr old rook - gonna be a long year IMO

I missed the game and we won. Coincidence? I think not.

I like Little starting even if he isn't producing points, he plays the Aminu role a hell of a lot better than Tolliver.
