No one could deny Mo the POTG title tonight -- no matter how well Brad played (he played great!). To put up the numbers Wagner did in 25 minutes...

I would say Beal because he carried the team.
Wagner had the game of his life, but Beal had a very good game too. We just expect it from Beal, and havent ever expected it from Wagner. I'm not letting that fact factor into the decision. 44 pts and having a hand in at least another 20 pts given his 10 assists means Beal was a factor in almost half of the Wizards points.

Seconded! Mo Wagner had the game of his life, but I'm not taking Bradley Beal for granted. 44 and 10 on a TS% of almost 80% while the primary focus of the opponent's defense. That ranks among the best games ever played by a Wizard. Beal is the heart and soul of the team and put them on his back tonight.
If I could give two POTG's I would because Wagner was awesome too. But I'm going with the Real Deal.

It's Brad as the fulcrum for me. We're getting nowhere without his drives, leadership and willpower in this one.

Mo played awesome but Brad had a Paul Pierce moment in the 3rd where he was getting on the team to wake the f*ck up. He willed us down the stretch.

Beal was great but we already knew he was an elite player.
I gotta go with Mo Swag. Not only did he put up epic numbers but he clearly got in the heads of the Wolves. He has a some of that old school pest in him.

Referring back to Beal's "TS% of almost 80%," I note that Wagner had a TS% of almost 95%!
There is no shame for Beal in finishing a close second to a guaranteed first ballot HOFer.

If you don't give Mo player of the game for what he did last night, you have to ask yourself what he would have to do to earn it!
Of course he was player of the game. Takes nothing away from a tremendous game from Brad too.

My guess is that some are waiting for Das MoW to have another Le Savant game and get a triple double 15p/12r/10charges taken.

He has to play exactly like that on a night when Beal has merely an above-average game rather than one of the greatest games of his career.

Beal Street and Mo Swag can settle it on court tomorrow.

He would have to have done it on a day when 44 and 10 didnt happen.
Look at us all arguing over who did better. What a refreshing and positive state to be in with regards to the Wizards.

The Tpups were pissed about his flopping, and I think that did affect them - they went after him, and he took some hits, but he stood his ground every time and made perfect cut after perfect cut on offense - didn't force a thing. Beal took over in the 3rd quarter right after Minny made a 3 to give them their first 3 point lead. He was amazing at that point on. Overall, I gotta give it to Swaggy Waggy. Nobody comes off the bench and does that - knowing the team needed him because Bryant was in big foul trouble playing against a superstar in Townes.
