Clippers are annihilating the Hawks and PG is looking insanely impressive.

PG is a beast. I still never could see him an NBA champ.

He's completely taken his game to another level. While I begrudgingly can respect that, he and Kawhi can go **** themselves. Part of me wishes that AD would come out tonight and drop 50 to send a message right back at him.
And I think we still might need another wing to help get past those chumps.

Yeah, we could use Iggy. And a healthy Cousins will help in the playoffs. I want to bring Van Fleet onboard, too, before we face them in the playoffs.
Van Fleet, Caruso, Bradley
LeBron, Green, Daniels, THT
Kuzma, Iggy, LeBron
Davis, Cousins, Kuzma
Howard, McGee, Kostas
Trade KCP and maybe Rondo in some creative way for Iggy before logo snags him.

Yeah, if this FO could find a way to swap KCP and Rondo with Iggy and FVV then I think that’s a wrap. Those would be the moves that put us over the hump.

Re: Around the NBA XI
George and Leonard have barely played together if at all (not watching and don't really care). Their games have a lot of overlap and neither really is an off the ball player. Let's see if it truly additive when they both play. Somehow I'm not seeing Lou, George and Leonard in a closing lineup as being that complementary.

Also don’t see PG’s PER of 57 holding up. The dude had two insanely efficient games and had the nerve to say “I’m back” lol.

Indeed. And as Cousins gets better, we should consider trading JMG, too if that’s what’s needed. I really do think that adding FVF and Iggy could set us up for a dynasty.

Re: Around the NBA XI
I think the "Iggy is the savior" stuff is not based in any reality. We're already one of the top defensive teams in the league. He adds little to the bench's ability to score, which is currently our biggest issue IMHO. He is 35 and in fairly obvious decline if you've watched. He's still a great situational defender and another playoff savvy vet but he's not a "dynasty maker".

In addition, he is a poor outside shooter, which doesn't help our spacing. However, I'd take him in a hearbeat.

Re: Around the NBA XI
Is Memphis actually paying iggy while he sits out? Or bc he’s sitting out they don’t have to pay him. I really don’t understand why he’s on that roster still if they’re paying him. I’d cut my losses if I were them
Warspite:
Prince + filler for Kobe Bryant
To be honest the way Prince has played and with Kobes injury/age/mileage Im not sure I would do that deal either. Still Prince is more important and he wins the head to head battles with Kobe.

Why? Both LA teams what him and you have him. That's a market my friend....

Not by himself no. But plug him and FVF into this roster... We’re so close to being unbeatable the way we’re currently constructed. With two small moves, we beat the Clippers three years in a row.

What kind of asset are they hoping to get for him? A late first at best? That’s worth 18 million dollars?

It's better than paying him to leave

They wouldn’t pay him the full amount, they’d save money. That’s the whole point of a buyout.

Re: Around the NBA XI
What're the chances Doc works it so Kawhi and George are never on the court together until the playoffs?
That seems like just the kind of Tom-Foolery he'd go in for.

That would be stupid for the Clippers to do and ill be rooting for it.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

Re: Around the NBA XI
Clips vs OKC is a really good game... Paul doing dirty tricks to PG13 makes me happy, but also F CP3.
