Re: MIDDLETON OUT SEVERAL WEEKS
If we were to put Middleton on the market he would be one of the very most talented players available.
Yes overpaid and an injury risk if we're running with the Michael Redd comparisons.
But I don't think we'd need to settle for Chris Paul if we didn't think he would be a fantastic fit.

Worked with the Clippers early in their careers.
Bledsoe did good starting alongside Dragic as well. Or he'd be a perennial 6th man of the year candidate honing his energy for shorter bursts.
Either way having another top flight PG would be valuable during a long season to try to keep CP fresh come playoff time.
George Hill would be a great compliment to them both.
I'm far from someone seeking out Chris Paul but if it weren't for that crazy contract as well as chemistry concerns I don't think this kind of scenario would be so far fetched.

Your daily reminder that Chris Paul is turning 35 years old this season and hasn't ever been healthy or durable enough to play past the conference semi-finals in 5 years, let alone be healthy enough for a Finals run like this team hopes to go on.

Not to mention he’s lost two or three steps at this point. People need to realize he isn’t elite anymore (and he hasn’t been for Atleast two years)

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

We don’t need to trade for CP3. Consolidating our bench guys and trading for Jalen Brunson would be nice. Just need another PnR capable guard.

I know there is a bigger, dumber conversation going on here, but this has been the funniest bit so far.
I liked the part where he asked if GoS if he was "really this stubborn".

"This is my home, this is my city...I'm blessed to be a part of the Milwaukee Bucks for the next 5 years. Let's make these years count. The show goes on, let's get it."

Good news. But honestly not the worst thing if they were cautious with him.

Did you really just post a lineup with the starting 2 guard being JR Smith?
Our actual management posted a lineup with the starting 2 guard being Tony Snell.

I think everybody knew the original 3-4 week time table was just them being cautious. If this were the playoffs I doubt he'd have even missed a game.

Ah and we had good unity on this board for 8 games. Now it might as well turn into a politics blog.

Yes! I missed the lazy passing, careless dribbling, hot streaks when the game's no longer up for grabs, etc.

I know right.... as if the turnovers, airball fts, hideous 3 pt shooting, and dumb fouls from Giannis isn't enough. now we gotta deal with the whole two broken guys at once thing again

Re: Middleton - Returns Wednesday
We're a better team with him. Saying we're not is dumb. Sure I would have preferred we signed others and I'm fine if he's ultimately traded. It was great to see DDV step up. Brown was so so. But it's a long season, there will be other injuries and our depth is pretty damn good (looking at you Philly).
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Wow, getting a shooter and best secondary shot creator is sure going to hurt! What are we thinking!?

7-2 with him. 7-0 without him. You can't argue math.
