He needs to use his knees. Giannis is all arms on his free throws.

This is part of the territory when it comes to having a player like Giannis. Don't let it bother you. It's not going to go away. Be glad we have a player that journalists use to create their buzzy clickbait headlines with.

Was thinking about this last night, here's my perspective--

If Giannis leaves us, we would have to have an absolutely disaster ridden last 2 years. Either get bounced in the first round or semis this year, or start 5-10 next year, something crazy would have to happen.

IF Giannis left, I don't think it would be to a team that already has a star. Can you see Giannis going to a team that's not Giannis' team? Like I couldn't see him going to Dallas, since that's Luka's squad. I think he enjoys having his own team.

So with that said, if Masai went to the Knicks, I'd be a little worried. Other than that, he's not going to Toronto, he knows if he did that he'd be hated in Milwaukee.

If Giannis went to Dallas it wouldve been Giannis team, it doesnt matter if Luka is there or not

Giannis is the better player, but that's still Luka's team. Luka's stamp is on it, he's been there for just over a year and 90% of the arena is dressed in Luka stuff. Just like the Heatles were Wade's team with a better LeBron.

Should be legs and wrist, he's guiding it too much.

I really don't think it is, at least not mostly. I think it's mostly mechanical flaws that he doesn't have the natural touch to overcome.

The Heat were LeBron's team after the first season, maybe less.

Ultimately, it is what it is. No real use in fretting about the possibility of Giannis leaving. If he does, I'll root for him wherever he goes honestly. Obviously hope he stays though.

I would argue that his mechanics are inconsistent because he's in his head too much. It's one thing to miss FT's at a 30% clip consistently, but when you're percentages vary as much his do it's most likely tied to confidence in yourself.

I don't think it's even really about consistency; it's just poor mechanics. Even when he shoots it mechanically the way he wants to, it's bad. When his mechanics aren't consistent, it's even worse.

I'm pretty sure "Drawing card" is a standard English expression.

Poor approach by the Raptors so far, IMO. Giannis values loyalty and honesty more than most things. Leaking fake info to Windy about his potential future free agency interests and not showing loyalty to Raptors contributors that were traded for Gasol has got to be rubbing him the wrong way.

Not that they ever stood a chance. Mavericks still scare me the most, but they've really smeared dogsh*t all over their books with some of those contracts.

There is no leak. Windhorst's comments were made in a 16 minute clip where an ESPN panel is having a speculative discussion on which teams might be the league's top contenders in 2022.

Proof that Windy got that line straight from the Raps org.

I think the expression was related to boxing or events at a night out.

Ie.
Who is on the card?
- aka who is written down on the official game or score card to indicate the fighters or performers.

What's the draw?

What is it that draws attention?

Therefore the "drawing card" is not a proper noun in and of itself. The card is still the noun and the drawing is a deverbal adjecting.

Sometimes also known as a deverbal noun.
