I love Milwaukee known as Cream City. It's not great in the fact that it's in reference to bricks, but it will lend itself to elementary grade headline copy and free up intellectual space for in depth sport copy.

Would those that bash the Cream City moniker prefer M-Town ala Houston's H-Town?

I feel like if your city doesn't have an obvious, well known nickname then you don't need to invent one to put on a jersey. Plenty of teams didn't go that route.

Love the jersey. Hate the "M" on the shorts.

Font reminds me of Milwaukee Electric Tool which I always thought would make a hot jersey. Always loved the Tulane color scheme so this works in a big way for me, hope Kevin Harlan gets laryngitis, Go Bucks.

I honestly like these a lot. I like when these alternate jerseys are just really weird designs that are nothing like anything else they wear. Prefer those a lot more than the Cream City jerseys.

It's the gradient that's awful.

I don’t have an issue with it, but again, I like teams doing weird stuff with their alts, like the Jazz gradient jersey they’ve recycled every year and our Mecca-inspired jersey.

My biggest issue with these is that it looks like a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air inspired jersey

I had no idea Milwaukee was referred to as 'cream city' I actually thought it was a parody when I first saw it. Anyway the show must go on, better yet it will make alot of folk laugh.

I personally don't mind it, but I never heard the name 'Cream City' until Bucks colors and unis brought it about. Now it's in alt jerseys and the Brewers are referencing it too. Seems like they're really pushing to, I guess, bring it back?

I hadn't heard of it either before the re-design.

The problem is the city has an association with beer, not cream bricks. It is how we are viewed in a pop culture sense. The Milwaukee Beers.

These carpetbaggers came in and read a Wikipedia article about the region and then gave us a bunch of marketing speak to choke down.

I do think we've finally reached the critical saturation point though. Paul Lukas seems despondent at all the changes. More and more fans are questioning all this, and Nike's role especially. If they don't sell, they'll stop.

It blows my mind that you guys have never heard "Cream City" or "Cream City Brick" prior to the change in color scheme.

I learned about Cream City in elementary school but I was born in and grew up in Milwaukee.

Anyone who doesn't think the city has an association with a VERY specific type of brick in which a number of buildings are made of throughout the city should probably open their eyes. They are LITERALLY the city's building blocks.

Maybe take a little pride in the city you're rooting for, and say, idk, learn a little about it?

Yea, I mean, I obviously wasn't born up around there.

That said I don't care about Milwaukee being referred to as Cream City because as the Bucks and Brewers have proved over the last couple years, cream colored jerseys are dope as hell. Give me all the cream colored merch.

Lots of complaining about the shorts, but I’m probably going to buy a pair.

Born and raised. It's something they might teach you in school. It's not something anyone has ever used. When you fly into Mitchell there's a kiosk pimping Brew City merch, for example.

Would you like to school us on all the times you've heard Cream City used in a sentence? Of all the Bulls fans who have driven up to watch Chicago play the Bucks, has a single flatlander ever uttered: "Driving up to the Cream City there to watch the Bulls Thursday night?"

Lakefront has a beer named after it, but never used, K.

I could give two **** if somebody from Chicago knows the term.
