Miami right now is doing what great teams do, which is blowing out teams that are clearly either rebuilding or just bad, and frankly we haven't been fully healthy either.....lest we forget we were without Jimmy for the first 3 games. I hear ya on Trae Young, but I have a hard time believing Miami would've lost those games had he not gotten hurt. We'll never know sadly....but we got two matchups left.IggieCC wrote:i'm not going to overreact to anything at this point bish
we beat ATL without Trea twice, Cavs twice, heavily injured Pistons and Pelicans, and Grizzlies. Our signature wins are vs Bucks and Hou but lost most games against tough opponents. It's way too early to celebrate. But it's great that we're beating up on weak teams that's what good teams are supposed to do and we haven't been able to do in recent years.
let's go Heat bish
My biggest concerns about this team is our reliance on 2 rookies for scoring and the abundance of turnovers. Against the elite, the latter ain't gonna fly. Hope we'll learn that lesson with as little pain as possible, but we're due for an awful loss as a result of it.

Great post Tony.
Yeah I'm very happy that we are capable of winning winnable games. I'd say 60-70% of teams are not so great this szn and we are capitalizing it so far. I think having a true two-way star in Jimmy really helps in reducing stinker games that we have been so prone to in recent years.
I agree that relying on rooks to carry a lot of offensive load will bite us at some point but that's part of growing pains. I'd rather get through that than the alternative. But because of that, I think it's premature to count out people like Winslow. Or even Dion. Our rooks haven't hit any walls yet but they probably will, and because how hard we play, injuries and fatigues are always a major concern too. I'm a believer of strength in numbers, esp. with this team.
