Chandler anchored an Nba title defense. Drummond didn't win a playoff game in his whole career.

He's appreciated only on this board.

You should see Twitter. You’d think the guy was prime Hakeem.

Not mad at all. Each loss is planting me more firmly on the tank. Not enough time to get it together and pile up wins before we get to the tough second half of our schedule. Trade Griffin for prospects and picks and throw Doumbouya in there.

Throw Doumbouya in there? What? I'm guessing you weren't serious because that would be bat **** crazy.

They would probably need to attach a sweetener to rid of Blake's contract but Sekou is way too sweet to be that sweetener.

I think (pray) he means throw him on the court and let him play.

Actually you're right. My bad

I don't think throwing him in a big minutes role right away is a good idea either.

Are the Knicks, Hornets and Cleveland really beating us or we're at their level in league standings right now?

That is indefensible. Now we pray the ownership decides this ain't it Chief and trades nearly everyone on the roster in favor of the Young guns and future picks.

Let's be the NOLA of last year's draft for God sakes. No one is excited for another year of Blake and Drummond judging by attendance rates and at least we can sell new hope with a high draft pick(s).

Nobody with a brain wants him at more than 20 x year.

This has absolutely zero basis in reality in a world where CJ McCollum just got a 3 year extension at near 33 mil per, Wiggins got an extension at around 28 mil per, Tobias Harris got a deal worth 36 mil per year over 5 years, Paul Milsap got 3 years/90 mil 2 seasons ago, Otto Porter got 106 mil over 4 years...need I continue?

Centers are paid a premium in this league and Drummond has continued to improve since coming into the league while shoring up his most glaring weakness offensively. 20 mil per is 18% of the cap, that's not going to happen for a 6'11 freak athlete and historically great rebounder playing the way Dre has this season, in spite of his issues.

No, premium stretch centers or lengthy 4s that show a semblance of a jumpshot get paid premiums not guys like Dre who is only really elite in rebounding in a league that doesn't care about rebounding as much as this FO does for whatever the hell reason.

The main problem with Dre is the fact that he needs an improbably perfect supporting cast around him. He needs 4 guys that can at least shoot at above 36% from 3 and can also defend well since he himself ain't great on D. Getting 2 guys like that is already extremely hard and expensive but 4? Forget it. Also filling the bench with non Gleaguers is a tall order on top of all that.

Because of that, guys like Dre are in the Clint Capela money territory not the Jokic or Embiids or KATs of the world's where they get absolute premiums.

This is where Drummond’s got you fooled. His loser mentality is a perfect match for this backwards and delusional organization. This is the only franchise that will ever treat him like the superstar he is not.

The real problem with this team has and always will be tom gores. Ownership in sports is everything and we have one of the worst in all professional sports.

I don't really agree. Going from an all time worst FT shooter to a respectable one is not the kind of thing someone with a loser mentality does. Dre legitimately has shown improvement in his face up game and playmaking as well this year.

He's just one aspect of a team that is laughable in terms of talent, not being a superstar isn't really much of a knock on a guy when there are so few superstars in the league. Time will tell what he gets in free agency but I do 100% believe he will get more than 20 mil per and I do genuinely believe that with proper coaching he's an all star who can play a major role on a contender.

Dre is a talented center but we aren't going anywhere with him as our #1 or #2 scoring option. This team as assembled is a 7-10 seed in the east with 1st round exit a most likely outcome. I honestly think fans would come see a rebuild if we can get a top pick or two (not the usual 8-12 pick).

We aren't going anywhere with or without him, though I would say he's ideally a great 3rd best player on your team. Fans aren't coming to watch this team unless we either start winning or somehow land the second coming of lebron in the draft
