You act like I’m going to argue Miller&Foye>Harden or argue in favor of signing scrub vets (that I complain about nonstop all throughout the season) over acquiring more draft picks and signing UDFAs...
I’m not giving anyone the benefit of the doubt, I’m just evaluating the pick/player itself. We don’t know that Robert Williams is more NBA ready than Troy Brown, we don’t know that Troy Brown would’ve been available at 20 something, especially since there were reports that teams were highly interested in him in the 15-20 range.
All I’m doing it evaluating pick 15&44, all you’re doing is attempting to get everyone to bash Ernie 24/7 with you. You started this by bashing the pick of Sanon but then you say you were fine with it. I don’t even know what we’re arguing about
Miller and Foye turns out weren't as good as that dude named Steph Curry.
Now they were actually better than another alternative the Wizards might have chosen, Johnny Flynn. The p;ayer picked in 2009 right before Steph Curry.
PS-- I was beyond pissed that the Wizards didn't KNOW that Curry was way better than Randy Foye. Foye played at least another 5-6 season. Miller had great success with the Heat and even the Cavs. But, the Wizards were NOT EVEN PRACTICAL in taking those guys as one year rentals on a middling team.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.
