Lots of people throwing around terms like "redundant" (with regards to Jimmy) and they've played maybe 15 minutes together this season? And if I recall correctly, they were a +double-digits in those minutes. How about we reserve judgement about how the two players mesh until we have actually watched them play together for more than 1.5 games...

We have been beating up on bad teams (which is great, it's what we are supposed to do and what we haven't been able to do in previous years), but the reality of the matter is that it's easy fall victim to recency bias. Justise (and players like Justise) becomes more and more essential the tougher the opponent. Whether it be to throw multiple elite wing defenders at opposing stars, or to have a stabilizing presence running the offense in close games, we will see sooner rather than later that we are not better without Winslow. Also, let's not forget his offense didn't look bad to start the season. Had a couple of 20-point games and was converting some tough layup attempts.

I get that Winslow has been a polarizing figure for Heat fans for years because there are some that are overly attached and some that think he's a bum, but seriously, just chill and wait to see how he fits before we start trading him or demoting him due to wins against a few bottomfeeders.

Cause guys just don't like Winslow's game and it's more validating not to admit that.

It could all be so simple. Instead, if Butler misses a game and we win: 'man, wait til' we get Butler!'

But if it's Winslow it's:'I think I heard that tree over there whisper that we would have lost by 30 if Winslow disrupted the offense.' And damn everything if I point out the irony.

But I'm not going to go on mocking ppl/

Interesting tidbit showing Butler actually cutting up the pace- which is good, good teams have the ability to turn it up and down... Well good if it's not Winslow...

Talking about bias, we have a starting 5 that are playing great together but the Winslow fans want him in the starting lineup because there is not enough evidence according to them that supports a simple spacing argument that at this point is showing great results. We have waited 5 years for Winslow to start finishing at least his layups and we are the ones who are biased for wanting other players to shine in our starting lineup? What is it that makes it so bad for Winslow to play for the second unit and fans like me thinking that's the best for the team?

Btw, some of you keep making this thing personal, it's not personal, we are Heat fans, not Winslow lovers. We care about winning more than some guy we are expected to like more than other deserving players no matter what. Gtfoh with that crap.

You're taking a hard line stance on player and personnel grouping that we have had a limited sample on this year. It's been two games that Winslow started with Butler, before he sustained a head injury. That's literally all we have to go on. And we're making determinations off that? Lol

If you are a Heat fan, you enjoy the success of the moment, and just wait for the dominoes to fall (Winslow and Jones Jr. being reincorporated in the rotation, in whatever capacity Spoelstra decides to go with). Instead of expressing discontent for a player who hasn't even played in the last 6 contests...

....But I digress

I believe we are 7-1 or 8-1 with DR in the starting lineup. When I suggested it was better for Winslow to come off the bench because I believe we needed more spacing for our offense to excel, some Alpha posters in here took it personal and came at me pretty hard for it. I am not the type to be backing down to anyone.

Now that our starting lineup is showing the success we all want as fans, I have the right to question the though of justifying breaking that up to accommodate a player that has not proven to be a better fit as a starter than DR. I care about winning and to me giving Winslow chances after chances is not among my priorities.

No surprise with it being a back to back. Still though, we'll miss both Justise and DJJ against the Sixers and their big wings. Might need JJ in that game.
