Yeah. No doubt. If the only thing I get for $8 (or whatever) is 4 episodes per month like that premiere, I’m keeping my subscription. And I am not a hardcore Star Wars fans by any means.

I was not expecting it to be that great.

It was really good...needed that after the disappointment of last Jedi and IMO solo. Wish they released all episodes at once

I’ve enjoyed it. Very short but simple storytelling. Refreshing for me. The sequel trilogy broke my heart and on the fence about going to see it in the theatre. When even Luke himself( Mark Hammil) is so disappointed ... I think the damage is irreparable.

Irishman was very good, too long and I wish they made it about 15 years ago when the actors were in their primes but very good.

Really? I thought you’d be raving about it. I’ll be checking it out next Monday night. I hope I’m not going in with expectations too high.

It’s very good, not in anyway bad at all. I just think if they could have done it where the movie wouldn’t have so much emphasis on the de-aging technology for deniro and Pesci was a tad younger it would be better. It is still very good don’t get me wrong and you’ll enjoy it.

Also, while every Scorsese movie is long- this is 3.5 hours with without a doubt a final 15 mins we just didn’t need IMO.

They’re touring Oz in February, got tickets for one of their Melbourne shows. Consider me excited.

Yeah, can’t wait. I’ve seen them before but it must be more than ten years since the last time.

Never made it to Irishman because I couldn’t carve out almost 4 hours. Late Saturday afternoon for sure. Instead I saw Knives Out, which was hands down the most fun I’ve had watching a movie this year. Not a top 5, and probably not even top 10 film this year. But it was fun. Definitely worth checking out.

Also, Little Monsters with Lupita and Josh Gad is such a hidden gem. I can’t recommend it enough. Funniest horror movie since Shaun of the Dead. Gad was laugh out loud funny

lol They were already well past their primes even 15 years ago. It was a great movie, though. I watched it last night on Netflix.

My wife and I are watching the His Dark Materials series, but we're quite disappointed. Great books. Great casting. But they're pacing the whole thing to optimize exposition rather than story-telling, so almost all the emotional beats fall flat.

It also doesn't help that they obviously had too little CGI budget. There's much too little in the way of daemons or bear armor onscreen, given the importance of those to the humans and bears respectively of the world.
Banned temporarily for, among other sins, being "Extremely Deviant".
