I cannot say enough, this Nuggets team is probably the best second half team in the NBA. They may go down big in the first half, but it doesn't really matter; when they're at home, the altitude changes everything. Teams get incredibly tired down the stretch vs. them.

Kanter is a reasonably fine post defender. He's struggled his whole career in P&R.

I've got the Nuggets winning tonight by 6-7

Also, **** Jamal Murray. Top 5 punchable face, all time. Right up there with Laimbeer.

Kanter is a human trade exception.

Kanter has only ever complained about playing time when the team has done poorly. Not playing + losing =unhappy Kanter.
He actually never whined about playing time or coming off the bench when his teams have been winning.

Let's end this trip with a 3-2 record before stomping Sacramento and BKN home and home.

Kind of a weird stat. Grant Williams is rarely the C and he's 0-17. Kanter and Williams have combined for one three taken. May as well just say that Theis is 2-12. He's hit two fewer threes than you'd expect given his career average.

He doesn’t seem confident shooting them this year though for some reason.

Ironically this team could use a guy like KO to help pull opposing bigs out of the paint

Any game in Denver is tough. I just want to see them continue a defense mind set. Hard to evaluate the offense minus Hayward right now.

He only takes one a game for his career. If he had hit two more, his confidence would appear fine. He's playing more minutes and his defense has taken a massive leap forward, and he's taking a lot fewer shots offensively. But it's only been a dozen games or so. Last year he was a reserve big, maybe put more energy into offense? I dunno, but Theis has been awesome this year from my perspective.

He still has only taken 137 threes in his career, not nearly enough to have any idea if he's closer to a 30% shooter or a 40% shooter.

Agree. And as you so elequently put, his volume isn’t there for opposing defenses to respect him as an outside shooter. They could definately stand to add a stretch big, be it Bertrans, KO, B-Jelly or ideally Grant Williams finds his shot soon

Wanamaker will win the game for the Celtics. I can't believe Brad didn't give his namesake minutes last season and insisted on playing Rozier and his pretend defense.

Hate this game.

We are 2 baskets, literally, from 4-0 on this trip and 13-1 record.

We are due for a clunker.

I usually go to the games in Denver, but haven't the last 4 years since I had my first child. Maybe next year i'll go as a family. I remember them all. Tony Allen's rookie year and first start and we lost by like 20 i think but Allen had a break away where he bounced the ball up and then caught it for a windmill dunk. Had even denver fans up screaming.

This is so right. 2 Baskets from being 4-0.
This team has done well, overall.

Gotta stop letting those leads go, though.

Just once, I'd like to see Carsen catch fire. We know he can do it. Okay, I'm lying. I'd like him to catch fire every game.
