Buddy might have to go for 40 to have a chance.

Not looking good. Goes without saying, but Bogi's absence is the major reason. Too many turnovers and no offensive vision against a team that does well defending the 3. So far we only have 1 made three a couple into the 3rd.

I don’t wonder why the Kings didn’t pick up Giles contract

Highly disappointing effort against the nets without Kyrie. Highly.

Apart from James and Giles it’s been poor.

Needed more from Barnes and at least something from Joseph. Buddy looks lost and making the simplest mistakes.

James looks solid for sure. He should have Ariza’s minutes, and he has a career in the league. I still question Harry’s athleticism/mobility, but I see other Kings fans disagreeing.

This won’t be pretty against Boston if the play isn’t much better

I'm completely over Cory Joseph. I get defensively hes pretty good.. I have zero confidence in him hitting shots and neither do the opposing teams.

Buddy looks the most frustrated I've ever seen him. His shots not falling and hes making some really stupid mistakes. Hes also not built to take on this role so I'm reserving judgement for when fox gets back on the court.

If bogdan is forced to miss more time, I could see us hitting a 4-5 game losing stream pretty easily.

Only saw the first quarter and I could tell the Kings was going to lose this game. Turn the game off and took a nap. Woke up to the post-game and saw the score, yep, they lost.

This was their chance to be at .500 after their disastrous start. But no, and now, this road trip can get ugly. I can see them ending the trip 1-3 or 0-4.

I'm not as disappointed. It's obvious the team lacked playmaking tonight. Not having Bogdan killed our offensive flow.

And to CJ - he doesn't look good when he has to be the primary playmaker. As a part of this team overall, when the squad is fully healthy, I'm a fan.

Writing this one off - let's get the next one!

I can completely see this, however this is why IMO his role is so narrow on this team and once it ventures out of it, well it's not great.
I don't think he should have played this game to be honest. The Kings were always going to be up against it, he is banged up so just rest him and get some reps into Yogi. It couldn't have gone any worse.

As far as CJ moving forward, he needs to be with shooters off the bench, but not be the ball handler. Stick the the short corner 3 and almost play as the 3&D wing with Bogdan taking all ball handling, or even James on occasion.
I like CJ on the defensive end, but let's not hide the fact that in that 2nd quarter he allowed Harris three 3s and then gave up an And 1 to Dinwiddie.
That was 12 points out of their 30 in really quick time and none of it was down to being banged up. He is a terrier defensively, but that cost us a huge amount.

As mentioned though the positive comes in the form of James. I like his potential on the offensive side of the ball.
