Tatum really needs to step up now. Be the leader!

Smart thinks he is a better offensive player than he is in real life

Just play the deep bench. Were shook and not giving effort. No reason to play them anymore

Keep in mind that he had another head injury already, a concussion is obviously better than a broken neck but this could still be a long-term thing.

I'd read that as:

-- The early diagnosis is nicely favorable, considering the alternatives.
-- Of course, given the severity of the hit, they'll check him carefully to see if there's anything really bad they didn't initially detect.

Concussion like symptoms never sounded better honestly. I would take a concussion any day over a neck injury and I’m sure Kemba would too. Praying it’s not anything worse

I'll take that as really good news. Surely if it were something neck-related, they would not just say concussion-like symptoms. Woj's tweets seems to confirm that thought.

He just watched a good friend get stretched off the floor without moving— his head is understandably elsewhere.

So the best case scenario here is he got KTFO and the brace and stretcher were precautionary. Let’s hope for good results from the hospital

He already has had a complete neurologic exam - no comment about paralysis is good news.
As we speak, he is having a CT to R/O a c-spine fracture.
Then, more than likely, a MR as well.

Tatum is very shaken I think. This is where being a young team hurts. Not just from a basketball standpoint, just to help the younger dudes keep their mind right. This is scary for them.

I'd be surprised if it isn't at least season ending to be honest.

Thanks for this. People were speculating Hayward's career was over too. It was upsetting and not productive, and ultimately completely baseless. We should learn from that and have better discourse this time.

It might be time to put Grant Williams in the game and have him shoot three pointers until he makes one.

So some of you guys were overreacting for no reason lol. Acting like he died or something. There’s still a game to be played. He’s good.

Stevens always waits too long to call a time out. Nothing was going right for the Celtics but no time outs until the lead increased to 15.
