Yeah. Honestly, as long as the dude is not paralyzed I don’t really care how long he’s out. Just want him to be OK and able to play at 100% for us as soon as he can.

Whiplash in my experience lingers for many weeks even if you can function immediately. But that generally comes from having your head suddenly flung backward (at least relatively speaking -- whiplash's canonical cause is getting rearended in your car so that your torso lurches forward without your head being similarly pushed), not from running crown-first into something.
