He's a rookie. What do y'all expect?

I didn’t say anything about expectations.

Just that he has sucked tonight.

The fact that Grant Williams played as much as he did is just insanity.

On Stevens?

Stuff like this is why I am hating GT this year.

We can back from 19 down. Brad is fine. Players gotta play better.

Winnable game. You come back from 19 down to cut it to 2, then lose in the last 3 minutes. They got beat. Not surprising, as we were missing the closer.

I sympathize with him though, this was a winnable game. Period. Zip. Point blank. You come down from 19, close it out. Period.

Grant can't buy a bucket and he's undersized on the boards, but he's a very versatile and intelligent defender.

Imagine if Ojeleye played half the minutes he played tonight. This may have resulted in winning the game.

Lots of positives from this road trip. Bunch of guys playing way above their experience level so far. Get well Kemba.

And coaches need to coach better.

Great comeback, but riding Grant Williams into the ground? Horrible handicap.

At some point when you can't hit ANY shots, you need to get on the bench. It is what it is.

Exactly.

The kid can’t hit a shot and has been extremely mediocre on defense.

Grant may be a great player in the future, but he ain’t close right now. He does not need to be playing crucial minutes whatsoever.

Another game we messed up at the end. Happened in 3 of the 5 games in this road trip.

Why Grant Williams was in the game at that time is anyones guess

Yeah, the idea that Brad needs to bench him 3/4 of the way through a rough game is crazy to me. Consistent minutes helps guys improve.

At the expense of losing games?

Even Jaylen didn’t get this much burn.

He should be getting those consistent minutes in the G league IMO

Ojeleye let his true colors shine through tonight on the offensive end, and I think I have seen enough. Dude will forever be awkward on offense. Some of his shots tonight were serious head-scratchers.

It’s hard not to be mad at grant Williams for being so horrible offensively and then giving up weak and ones to Milsap. It’s hard not to be mad at Wanamaker for looking off Tatum and then throwing it away. Very difficult not to be mad at rob Williams horrible court awareness. But at this point who is left on that bench that we can rely on? Worst bench I’ve ever seen in the nba

The williams are basically rooks. We are going to have to live with mistakes for them to get better..

Grant Will was a +8 on the floor

The Williams Bros and Wanamaker were the only reasons we were in this game. The starters were getting their assets handed to them from the 1st quarter. People can shut up..

Could prove to be difficult with no a Hayward or Walker.

With that kinda legendary request, I'd be remiss without dropping by. I'll just say it was a "mediocre" comeback that just fell short, better luck next time....see ya in Beantown :D :D

The C's were also +18 for the 27 minutes Wanamaker was in the game (as opposed to -22 for the 21 minutes he was out)--himself scoring 14 points on 8 shots. Grant was +8, Javonte +11, Rob +2. The bench didn't lose this game.
