You grab Edwards and then get a guard with the other pick. You set this franchise up for years

New pg Edwards Barrett Mitch frank Dotson iggy.
That’s a nice nucleus

What if Nico is there around 7th and the Hawks are picking. They already have their starting PG and they seem to value acquiring multiple picks or players, and then the Knicks trade the Dallas first rounders?

Might be a bit steep for Nico, but was putting up a name of someone who might fall and go lower than Cole or Lamelo, as far as PG's, but be good enough to be worth it.

I’d be for it. I still have hopes for frank but if we came out of the draft with nico and Edwards to pair with Barrett Mitch frank. I’d be extremely happy

It's not even so much how I feel about Frank - who I like, as having that good rotation of guards in general. I'm sold by 2010 we need Edwards and RJ and Frank help facilitate drafting a true SG as they can slide to other positions. IF Frank solidifies his jumper, while he wouldn't be a dynamic SG at all (no kidding), if the Knicks did draft a PG, his ability to hold down PG and SG defensively would make him a nice 6th man.

Anyway, glad the Knicks have their picks. The team isn't that great, a lot of their players have flaws, but slowly they are building a base of young talent, while so far not capping themselves out into the future.

People will see what 2010 and myself see in Edwards and will slowly hop off the Cole Anthony and wiseman train soon

It’ll be all aboard the Edwards express come January

Yes LOL both of us had been daydreaming of scenarios wherein we manage to end up with both Wiseman and Edwards.

One way was if we lose out in the 2019 lottery (which we did) then trade that pick for an unprotected first round pick in 2020 to a team which we still think would suck.

Still glad we got 3rd though and ended up with RJ.

Yep I remember those days
Thank god RJ looks like the real deal. All we need is Wiseman next to him and the rest is history

Cole Anthony is the one, y'all. He doesn't waste any energy when he scores. Every move feels so pristine and compact. He's just a well put together player. I think I'd take him #1. Might take him over Edwards.

The dream is:

Cole
Frank
RJ
Giannis
Mitchell Robinson

I had been internally critical on Cole Anthony’s poor FG% of 38% but realized that Anthony Edwards is not exactly a model of efficiency as well with only a slightly better FG% of 41%.

Cole Anthony is carrying that team I don’t expect his numbers to be that great percentage wise. They haven’t proven to be a good shooting team nor do they have a go to second option right now.

Roy’s gonna ride that kid every game
