Re: PG: Zach FTW!!
Watched full highlights several times.
Lavine-Sato-White is an incredibly dynamic perimeter combination. The offensive potential is really spectacular. When Sato is assertive, Lavine and White on his edges makes it very hard for defenses to decide who and how to defend; Sato is very quick and crafty with his decision making and those other two are blurs as athletes that can catch ball going to hoop or spot up anywhere.
So can we maximize this effectively? Well, the need a hell of a lot of development defensively. White is the one I'm most confident in, but even then it's as a team defender, not the individual tenacity. Lavine will likely always be the weakest defender of that bunch; that weakness can be acceptable when you have a tremendous defender(s) with him, but when it's other average defenders then it necessitates Lavine being at least a little better than what we've ever seen.
Sato has the size, but he is a weak individual defender. He would get bullied by any other starting level SF. But like White (except without the athletic baseline) he looks to be a capable system defender.
All that said, I feel like this trio needs to share the floor much more. 1) whenever other team has a smaller than usual 1-3. 2) whenever a unit is struggling to score. 3) Probably best not to make defensive matters worse by adding Lauri to bunch (so pairing with two of WCJ/Gafford/Young/Porter).
If we think of that as the baseline, then Sato can be pulled for spurts of Dunn(if Lauri on floor)/Archie(if Porter on floor). White or Lavine can obviously be pulled for Porter (we need Porter to get healthy and be capable second scorer). White or Lavine could also be pulled for Harrison or Dunn in short defensive rotations. But still keeps 2 of the 3 (Sato-White-Lavine) on floor as much as possible.

Still very concerning that Lauri is essentially non existent playing with Zach. They rarely ever have good games together.
Will add again that LaVine won them this game considering the continuous awful decision making of Boylen with his rotations and lineups.
It's always humorous how many fans think they know more about how to coach a team than someone who has been either a coach or an assistant coach at the nba level for what- 20-25 years now?
Well in this case I think they may be right. Not in breadth or depth, but in the reality of xs and os

Man is this where we are at now? Looking at 5 seconds of something and knowing exactly what is going on? Guys were going nuts..and making there way over to Zach. While in the hell would the focus be on the coach in this moment? Coby looks to hi-five Boylen and the rest are appearing to make their way to Zach.
This is borderline Fake News and part of the reason why social media sucks.

Unfortunately Trubisky is Lauri, who was still 1-9 tonight.

Re: PG: Zach FTW!!
No need to twist interpretations of video clips to knock Boylen. He needs to maximize what works for this team better than what we've seen so far PERIOD. Calling out a player isn't enough.

Re: PG: Zach FTW!!
5 of his 13 threes were from the corner, did really well to get him good looks in the right spots.
Also Wendell is a damn gifted passer, his no look pass to Zach in the corner was beautiful.

It's humourous when people like yourself don't actually have a counter arguement or anything of substance to respond with.
Basketball isn't rocket science. If you've watched and studied the game long enough you can pick up things that are right and wrong.

So what. It was a once in 200 times that will happen. It's not like this is good for the Bulls right now. It was great..It was a miracle win. Won't happen often though and it's not like it was a team win or anything. This is actually terrible for the Bulls and Lavine. Anything that encourages hero ball is team killing.
You don't have to be so miserable dude.
Enjoy it.
It was a highlight in a season of lowlights.
Sorry I'm not delusional. Listen dude, you've been as hard or harder on Lavine as anybody here. That's fine. He's deserved it. But, if you think this is somehow a good thing for this basketball team.. sorry, that is delusional.
Johnnyvann, dude, it’s just a game. If you can’t enjoy that, then you shouldn’t be watching games, shouldn’t be a Bulls fan, and definitely should be seeing a therapist to fix that pitifully depressing attitude that permeates every post you make. I’m not making a joke. Therapy is good. Get some.
DO THE DEW!

Yeah but they didn't hit game winners.
Because... most... teams are good enough... they don't... need game winners when one of their players hits 13 3's

Coby's TS% went up over 2% from this game,. A couple more games like that and he might approach league average.
(he's up to .496)

I believe this would be Zach's ideal role if he could be paired with a PG or point forward that consistently set him up for open looks. He is better off ball period.
