Watching the standings the 6 teams that are in front of us didnt have any substantial injury for the beginning of the season.
Denver is healthier than ever after having lot of bad seasons in that regard.
Very difficult game for us.

Any word on Rubio or Baynes? Probably would make more sense to keep them out until Wednesday.

knew relying too much on Bayne and Ricky needing them to carry us by playing heavy minutes in the beginning of the season would come back to haunt us.

Come on. Those are young men in their prime. Dont let the "load management" BS get to your head; they didnt play 48 minutes. Ricky must have something twisted, while Baynes as i understand suffers from the results of that massive crash he had in one game when flying over a guy and landing uncontrollably on his hip?

Yeah, it really sucks that play happened. Just unfortunate dumb stuff like that probably already cost us 2 games. Should be 10-5 not counting those early Denver and Utah losses we were close to winning.

Really hope they pull Booker and Oubre quickly if this turns into a blowout.

In both the Suns blowout losses this season, Monty played Booker 35+ mins which isn’t healthy.

It’s the right move, have him sit out Wednesday too and then come back Friday hopefully.

Do you have inside info on his injury that we don't know about or have knowledge that Booker and/or Oubre have some nagging injuries and need extra rest before two full days off?

Nope, I’ve never claimed to have inside info on any of the injuries either.

Teams have rested players so far in this young season even without them dealing with “nagging injuries”( based on those teams injury reports) for load management.

Load management used to be tied with injury management but that’s not the case anymore in the NBA imo.

Just doesn't make a ton of sense unless they feel fatigued, have nagging injuries, etc, especially with two days of upcoming rest. Now if they are down 30 midway through the 3rd, I agree, sit them, or if Rubio doesn't feel completely ready to go on Wednesday, or his doctors advise against it, sit him. But I don't agree with sitting guys for the hell of it. Maybe the older guys like the Spurs did or Toronto with Kawhi last year since he had that nagging injury and apparently still does. But I don't see much of a need to sit 23 year olds unless you have a game in the bag or are losing by an insurmountable amount.

You start whoever's healthy and give it a go. With the amount of 3s the suns take it's a high variance thing where they can get hot and win any game.

Now I'd definitely have a quicker hook if things go sideways booker and oubre should be rested.

As far as 'load management' in general I think every situation is unique. If you're a really good and deep team who can afford to play some games short handed then I have zero problem resting guys. Some guys are better with more rest and others it doesn't seem to matter.

Although Phoenix has struggled these past week they do play much better against +.500 teams. Even without Rubio or Baynes expect Suns to play much better and get a win tonight. You'll be surprised that one of Kaminsky or Saric will go bonkers and outperform Oubre maybe even Booker. The key is rebounding and Diallo will be huge in that category for us. Also, Cam Johnson will nail 4 to 5 threes.

#ITrust Papi Frarío Sarinsky to display (acceptably) well at defense against The Joker plus Millsap minus Barton.

Bit more concerned about stopping Jamal and Harris.

Frightened in fact.

Given this is game 5 in 7 nights, second night of back to backs, and a road game, and considering we're still down 3 players, let's avoid the doom and gloom talk should we get annihilated in this one
