I am sorry but you dont put the fate of the franchise on a ginger, its very rare for a ginger to be top athlete, Kevin De Bruyne the only one

Also the draft is just one component but none of these guys are completely fixing this team heading into next year. We need to figure out who to add in free agency and what deals help improve this squad

The dream is:

Cole
Frank
RJ
Giannis
Mitchell Robinson

Love Cole Anthony. He’s the guy.

Worried that he lacks that “slipperiness” that Trae Young and Steph Curry has you know? A little clunky on drives to the rim, but other than that I just love love his game. Taylor made for the league and PERFECT for our Knicks.

And he hit a game tying 3 to send it to over time.

For what it’s worth, Mike schmitz from DX has maintained that he would take Lamelo #1 for the past couple of weeks. He might be on to something.

Really impressive highlights for that game.
If he was at least 35% from 3 For the year I’d take him 1 just because his ceiling seems absolutely through the roof. The defense I’m not to concerned with.
My thing with ball is can that 3 get consistent and be a knockdown guy and does he have the right mindset to work at all of his deficiencies

I’m ready for Mannion/Maxey

I like Mannion, but I never see him score around the rim. When he creates, it's normally for a floater. Need to see how often he actually gets to the rim. His game has shades of Russell with less flash out of Ohio State.

I don’t really trust LaMelo because of how his brother turned out. I guess he’s got more of a scorers mentality than Lonzo had but without his defense. Are you really going to take a kid with a similar skill set without the defense? Lonzo doesn’t look like he’ll ever live up to being drafted number 2 overall. The only way I draft LaMelo at 1 is if that jumper he showed off today becomes consistent throughout the rest of the year.

I’m sold on Melo. You can’t teach his size, passing or handles. The key will be if he can adjust to the NBA and buy in on being a team player.

What exactly makes you say the bolded? Yeah Lonzo doesn't put up big numbers generally but he does a ton of stuff to help a good team win and he's become a better shooter this year. I'd honestly say the biggest thing holding him back is his health.
