Not sure how Embiid scores zero points. But sums up the challenges the Sixers have. Some nights dominant. Some nights discombobulated. Good for us though.

Simmons with a solid Jennings impersonation at the end of that game.

For those that want to read some salty debates between Raptors and Sixer fans after tonights game, here is the Philly game thread, starting right after the game ended:

I'm just dumbfounded that Embiid had that epiphany after that crushing game 7 loss last year, slimmed down so he could attack more, and then is just worse and tops it off by having the worst game of his career against the team that knocked him out. It's nuts. I have to see this game.

Warriors up 9 with 3 mins to go and lose. I had their game on against Utah over the weekend and they had a chance to win that too but came up with some bad shots and lost. Pretty good tank going on.

I'm glad Simmons is BYC because if he was easy to trade, Simmons for Dame would make a little too much sense.

It’s weird how Simmons wants no part of end of game action. Seems afraid of failure.

Embiid only dominates when he has a huge size/strength advantage or he is going up against guys with no defensive IQ like Drummond or Whiteside. He seems to have lost a lot of explosiveness as well since his college days from the weight gain and injuries. Can't score in the post against someone like Gasol who just makes his life miserable

I love the way this is trending for Philly. It's really hilarious.

Eh ok he missed some shots, he'll make them the next game.

The worrying thing for the Sixers is that they really don't seem to have worked on anything to get him the ball somewhere reasonable or something to do once he gets it. He just pops randomly and they toss it to him just anywhere, and then hope for the best. Good old early 2000's basketball, just perfect victim for the Raps giant spider web. Hopefully ours too.

The other worrying thing is that the dude seems too emotional, once things don't go his way he can't seem to pull himself together and focus properly. Got some growing up to do, the later the better for us.

Wait... the emotion is best part. Last thing the NBA needs is a bunch of Kawhis running around. The Embiids and Draymond Greens are pure entertainment!

How could ownership possibly have confidence in Vlade after that? You'd have to think that was a valid factor going into that choice in order to stick with him. Not all information is good or useful. How well you got along with his dad is pretty ****.

Luka's dad straight up denies the report.

After the media from the former Yugoslavia reported this, my phone started ringing.

I am amazed at the unprofessionalism of the media. Even with ESPN, which is a serious sports media outlet, I would expect a different treatment. It is irresponsible that a journalist of such a highly respected media company is so quick to succumb to whisperers.

We laughed at it. Vlade have told me that if journalists ask me, let them know that we had a good laugh at this fake story.

Vlade have explained to me in the past that at that time they had good players at the guard position and wanted to fill the roster properly.
Amos Barshad: "So you got a job, a place to live, a license? What’s left?"

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”
