The NetRtg is really good. It's just disappointing because Augustin has such **** vision and spends so much time on the ball.
Which is odd, because he's such a good spot up shooter he should be used as the off-ball guard and Fultz should drive the play. The option to have Fultz sitting in a corner is just baffling.

I'm actually okay with Fultz taking catch-and-shoot threes if that's how we want to use him. The results haven't been great thus far, but his shot looks consistent. But we had a possession during that stretch where DJ was just pounding the ball and Fultz was wide open. DJ kept pounding the ball and found Fultz about 10 seconds later. I just don't understand why we put the ball in the hands of someone that sees so very little of what is going on around him.

Both of them were wide open and he threw it between them because he wanted the shot. He only passed it out of desperation.

I don't think we were all that good defensively honestly. We are going to have to pick it up in the second half. Toronto missed a lot of shots that you can't count on them missing in the second half.

I don't think they'll go 5-24 from 3 in the second half.

I still can't wrap my head around the fact that some people didn't want AG to come back. Iwundu/Aminu are such comically bad basketball players. AG is leaps and bounds better then both guys and the more minutes we can take away from either the better off we will be imo.

Nah, we were pretty stifling inside and especially in transition. We always leave a decent amount of shooters open every game though, but yeah, we need to play a bit better perimeter defense.

Nick Nurse has to be the most annoying coach in history. He never stops bitching like a little girl. It's unreal.

Magic looking mediocre so far but playing with a lot of energy. The Raptors missed a lot of open 3's as well.

Happy that AG's doing what he does best and isn't forcing anything and letting the game come to him and playing great defense.

Sure, when he's playing with this energy and not just taking stepback midrange jumpers going 6-17 he's great. He's just playing defense and rebounding and not forcing shots up. That's why he's been successful so far tonight.

Our main issue is we just seem to struggle so hard to get a good possession. Dribble 10 seconds, wait for screen, dribble penetrate, jump pass, pass again, sort of open shot .. versus a team just swinging the ball twice and somehow finding an open shot. It's maddening to watch at times.

Any version of AG is better than Iwundu/Aminu.

All of these Gordon mid-range fadeaway jumpers are awful.

Evan is the worst defender. Why are you helping Isaac of all people?
