It kinda angers me that in 20 years people are gonna be looking at Bball-Reference.com and thinking that James Harden was a better player than guys like Kobe and Kawhi cuz box scores and stuff.

So apart from LeBron and AD, who of their team makes our team? Green, Kuzma, Bradley. KCP?

KCP is terrible.

Sure but does he beat out Thanasis? I think he does.

I would agree with that. He's at a very interesting stage of his career. The most talented basketballer we've ever produced, but there's something that doesn't sit right with me.

I think I can explain it as that he is lacking character qualities we as Aussies expect in our sports stars.

The Sixers were down by 1 with 14 seconds on the clock, this is how their last 4 defensive possessions played out (that take was in the backcourt so the Pacers wouldn't have a chance at a 3). Simmons literally stole the game from them.

13.9 T.J. Warren bad pass (Ben Simmons steals) 114 - 113
7.9 Jeremy Lamb bad pass (Ben Simmons steals) 114 - 115
3.8 Ben Simmons personal take foul 114 - 117
1.6 Jeremy Lamb bad pass (Ben Simmons steals) 116 - 119

That's awesome. I want him to be a generational player that people will talk about for years to come. But I stand by what I said. Prove me wrong, Ben.

They'll probably have better analytics by then
or just a better understanding of current analytics

In fairness to Harden, he and Kawhi are both still working on their legacy. As for Kobe, he was amazing. But he also had prime Shaq as a sidekick for his (Kobe’s) greatest years.

I’d take prime Harden third out of those three guys at the moment, but nonetheless he’s truly a special player.

Kobe didn't have to face a team like the GSW dynasty when he was without Shaq. Harden could easily have a ring by now if it's not for GS. Honestly, if CP3 doesn't get injured in 2018 they most like would've taken down GS and won the chip. Imagine how much the narrative changes if CP3 doesn't get injured in that series and Harden takes down the Durant/Steph Warriors

At the end of the day if Harden is on your team you will probably win 55+ and will advance deep into the playoffs. I think his playoff struggles are overblown at this point. He's legit and deserves to be talked about with other all time greats

Harden is hell of a player. He does not deserve the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the playoffs.

23 free throws in 31 minutes. I don’t even want to know what that game looked like.

Between Harden playing when Houston are up 40 and then the footage of him realising he missed out on a personal best tells the full story of what he cares about.
