Again, the Grizz are tied for 7th worst. Net rating is 2nd worst. I think they'll finish bottom 5.

Our pick is 27ish, bucks 29.

I’m still happy with a #7-#10 pick this year.

The way I see it, if you want to use the pick to draft then you should hope it conveys this year and if you want to trade it then you should hope it does not.

The current Doug Moe Standings (road wins minus homes losses):

-7 Grizz
-6 Knicks
-5 Warriors, Hawks, Cavs
-4 Bulls, Spurs

Bruno Caboclo and De'Anthony Melton, way too much for a team of Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns, and an injured Jake Layman, to compete against.

Hoped for 10 game losing streak, so it stops at 6 or something.

Don't want their pick. Point guards and shooting guards who can't shoot, 80% to 90% of the lottery is that type of player. Tall guy Wiseman will go early, after being suspended for accepting 1,200,000 pennies from Penny Hardaway. Duke center V Carey an option possibly. Don't really want Onyeka Okongwu, can't pronounce or spell his name, but he does defend and hit his free throws. 2021 looks like more power forward types for the lottery.

Maybe Memphis go 3 and 6, or 2 and 7, in their next few games. Pelicans and Pistons should do better, and get past them for wins, maybe Bulls too.

I kind of want this pick this year. Im real high on Tyrese Maxey and developing him for two years as a backup. Also think we may be able to trade up for Wiseman, who’d be a fantastic fit.

MEM will finish bottom 5. Then it really depends on the lottery gods…

But since there are no great bigs projected in the top 10 (outside of Wisman but he will probably be top 3) it might be better for the pick to roll over…

OTOH, MEM would have another top 5 pick and a lot of cap space next season...there are no big FAs next year but still... we saw what happend with Sacramento and Morant seems like he is the real deal like Fox...

I honestly believe Memphis is going to be like the Kings pick. Next season they will be in the 11-14 range. Best to move or get the pick this year.

Yah im here too— next years draft is loaded and a ton if teams are going to tank. Would just prefer the asset now.

Honestly, I waffle. 7-10 this year sounds great, and sure, I'd take it, so I get it. But, we have enough really good / all-star level players. We need a superstar. With the smoothed odds, even if they land 10 pre-lotto next year, that's a 16.9% chance at getting top 4 for a shot at one. Ultimately, I'd prefer to roll those dice.

At least they have little to no hope of improving much via FA. Decent young team but an injury or two can really derail the season. I'll take my chances next season.

We should want for them to take a project player like Wiseman.

Grizz have only about $62 million next year for salary. Grizz can be big free agent players if they want to add to the team

The 2020 free agent class sucks though.

That was pretty much my point plus the fact nobody is coming to Memphis.

My goal is to trade up for Wiseman. He fits us perfectly.
