MarJon Beauchamp and Jalen Green seem bound to join Australia's next stars program, as the second wave

Is this speculation Fisch or did you hear/read this somewhere?

I know RJ Hampton's dad was talking not long ago about wanting to see Jalen over here.

Yeah my read on Green would be that he's going pro. The blue-blood programs seem to have backed off on recruiting him, and he's definitely branding-conscious enough to do it.

I hope so, I think he's the most likely name - a good one too.

I see Beauchamp is weighing pro options - another name I saw is Kyree Walker. From what I can tell Walker is a 4*, 35th nationally, though, so he might be in the Terry Armstrong boat where he may struggle to get minutes in the NBL.

Saw another name previously as well, can't remember though. Think it was a big.

Jalen making a move like that is a game changer. If the league doesn't eradicate that OAD rule after Jalen goes overseas (and i'm not saying because of Jalen, just after his class) they might have a problem on their hands. A lot of these kids are well aware of their "stardom" and what it could potentially mean. Melo didn't have a choice. RJ took that leap and he wasn't the biggest name out there and it's working out for both. Jalen "got a nation on my back" Green could be enough to shake something up. With kids like Emoni Bates and Dior Johnson on the horizon that move might not look too bad with the success we're seeing with Melo and RJ in the NBL and the NBL's obvious willingness to house these kids for a year for the pub.

I've recently seen a Dirk comp for Chet Holgren. Anybody agreeing with that notion?

I have to say something with this kid. This has to be my most overrated recruit I can recall in quite sometime. Every time I watch this kid I come away unimpressed. Don't get me wrong, he's 7 foot and can dribble and shoot. Athletically he isn't impressive at all and he makes Brandon Ingram look strong.

I have zero faith in his game translating against NBA size, strength and speed.

I mean who in the hell wants to play with a guy named Chet? When I hear the name Chet, I instantly think of a mean jock from some 80s movie. I just think of the hot girl the nerd is into who is dating the jock saying, "Come on Chet, just leave him alone." haha.

Now that you make me think of it, you make me hate him even more now haha.

Sir, not only is that true but it will be going forward anytime I see him in a highlight. He will now and forever in my head pull up to the gym on a tricked out Huffy with "CHET" on the personalized plate, wearing an oversized letterman's jacket that stays on until tip-off (yes that includes warm-ups), and he'll mean mug the crowd home or away after every free throw he makes.

Im picturing the classic snow movie where the jerk challenges the nerd to a ski competition and whoever wins gets the girl haha.

So to recap, neither one of you gentlemen will be posting the "Don't Fret, there's always Chet" tank hashtag when his draft class comes around. Is that correct?
