Ha, good catch. So unintentional, but whatever, I feel like stabbing random living objects at the moment.

Well it'd be outstanding if there were rodents that needed to be killed. Just grab a steak knife and voila you unleash your anger freeing you from watching Brewers baseball.

Sheets has been out 6 weeks and pitched NO rehab starts.

At best we get 5 innings out of him before the pen implodes but I wouldn't be surprised to see him give up a few in his first start back.

people who still think this team will win but will watch a game and the team will go up 6-0 and then blow the lead in the 7th 8th and 9th inning.

I doubt that. If anything Sheets falls apart. For the Brewers to start him against the Cubs in probably the most important series left for your team seems like a desperation move. This guy was lights out before his injury and as an opposing team's fan I'm still scared. However I doubt he does well tomorrow; as Mickey said, no rehab starts and your putting him on a big stage in front of the opposing fans.

Good Luck Sheets.

The big stage in front of opposing fans is no big deal to Sheets. It's not like he's a rookie. That doesn't concern me at all. The no rehab starts is what concerns me. He threw one "simulated" game, about 80 pitches and that's it.

Ok I'll give Sheets the credit, which I did in another thread, hes a veteran. But coming back from injury, playing the team your trying to catch up to, pitching against Zambrano, pitching in front of the Wrigley hostel crowd, pitching against one of the best lineups in the Nat'l league, plus no rehab start, just a measly 80 pitch simulated game is pretty pressure packed.

If anybody wants a healthy pure division race its me. It'd be great to have a 3 way rivalry between the Brew, Cards, and Cubs. I said a couple months ago as a fan I feel had when players aren't healthy. The team's fans always have an excuse, and rightfully so.

As I said again with all due respect Good Luck Sheets.

I wouldn't be suprised at all if Sheets only lasted 3 innings.

This has been the most frustrating demise of a team that I have ever witnessed it has just been downright gut-wrentching. :banghead:

More stupid moves by ned

I can't remember if I cried
When I realized this team had no pride
but it still burned me deep inside

So bye, bye to the playoff chase
Another losing season is about to take place
Only hope for next season is left to embrace
Singin' my heart ran out of space
The day the brewers lost the race.
