I'd take NAW without hesitation.

In the future all of his detractors will be saying "but nobody expected him to be this good", same as they're saying about Brogdon in Indiana right now, same as they said about McCollum, Harden, etc. (Note, just because I've mentioned those names does not mean I'm setting them as the standard for what NAW will become, they are simply examples of some of the many times others have doubted the potential of other players, whom we all wish we had right now).

As long as NOP can instill some more discipline in the team, NAW will come along just fine. He's learning from JRue and JJ at the moment - fantastic mentors.

You'd rather see young guys play great than play poorly, but there's no guarantee it's going to translate immediately either way.

...especially when it helps fuel the hate that some try to spread about the organization and their choices. Wonder what happens IF Okeke come out and becomes that swiss army knife glue player that leads our bench and helps set a standard. Would be pretty funny to hear the silence or the random love from everyone. "I knew WeHam knew what they were doing from the start" lol

&& yes, I would still take him today. I think he’s going to develop into a very good player in this league. His unusual situation in New Orleans with their deep backcourt has been well documented.
Not sure were that came from but I don't need validation anyone, least of all from people in here. People were literally weeping over not picking him and now he's in the same boat as okeke.....not playing.

Every time Vuc has done something good this season you’ve posted something along the lines of “where are all the Vuc haters now” trying to call people out that may have had reservations about giving him the contract we did. && now you bump this thread calling people crybabies as if people will have changed their mind about NAW after only a month.

You're referencing when I said, in jest, that I will post "$100 million dollar man" after everything positive he does on the court since some people had been literally doing that at every single miscue since game one, which isnt just childishly annoying but in actuality is them searching to validate their "reservations".Now if you called me a narcissistic a hole..You'd be on to something.... But searching for validity? from who?

Why do you always tell everyone who disagrees with you they're crying lol. Some weird teenager message board tactic.

Anyway NAW definitely stinking it up. Still a believer long term.

Of course you would  you were one of the people saying that he could replace Fournier on day one, and that he was already a better prospect than Fultz, etc etc....

I don't want any kid to bust, but I did warn you and others about making grand statements about summer league and preseason garbage time performance.

In the future, if he busts, all his fans will blame coaching and the situation he was in and say wait until he's in better situation...in 4-5 years who will care?

I remember all this silly talk. I dont remember how many of us tried to be reasonable and wrote that NAW wouldnt even made our rotation and his realistic ceiling is worse Fournier. Btw great comparisons to prove a point: rookie of the year and two elite off the dribble scorers taken in lottery. Great job ben you did your homework.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !
