Warriors in Drummond, McDaniels, Caleb Martin, 2020 CHA FRP (lottery protected)
Warriors out Russell, Looney, WCS
Detroit in Russell, Batum
Detroit out Drummond, Snell, Rose
Charlotte in Rose, Snell, Looney, WCS
Charlotte out Batum, McDaniels, Caleb Martin, 2020 FRP (lottery protected)
Why Warriors? They use Russell to get a better fit with a defencive C they need. They also get a mid high FRP and they will be just 1 mil away to avoid the tax.
Why Detroit? They move on from Drummond and start to build around DLo, Kennard and Doumbouya. Pistons will have to deal Griffin too and get even younger.
Why Charlotte? They buy with their FRP Rose to become their 6th while cutting Batum's money into four players they can actually use.

Re: Warriors and Detroit with Charlotte
Charlotte isn't close to good enough where trading a future 1st makes any sense for them. Especially for a salary dump given how little having cap space next summer will be worth.
For Golden State, some fans really like Drummond, but I'm not that interested. IMO centers should be great or cheap and Drummond is neither. He's improved on D but he's still more average then a real difference-maker there. For a guy likely to cost $30M/yr or more to resign that's not appealing. Once the 1st goes away (as Charlotte would never offer it) I'd lose interest.

Batum has a 2 year contract. No way we trade a 1st to dump a 2 year contract.
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

this. especially since we already have $40M+ in expirings this summer, and will likely not sign anyone of importance with the cap space.
Not worth the loss of a pick

Yeah I'd take this for GS. I have no idea who the fillers are however.

I think GS and Det couldnjust work a deal out themselves? Rose+Dre for DLo+filler+value.
Though I don’t think GS should consider the deal. And Char shouldn’t consider the OP.
