I have an excellent system, I am happy to share;

1. Can we get a baby sitter?
N - Try again in 6 weeks
Y - Proceed to 2

2. Is there a movie that will end by 9PM to prevent my wife from falling asleep during the movie?
N - Try again in 6 weeks
Y - Proceed to 3

3. Is there a movie that REMOTELY interest my wife to prevent my wife from falling asleep during the movie?
N - Try again in 6 weeks
Y - Proceed to 4

4. Is that movie(s) playing at a theater within 20 minutes of my home
N - Try again in 6 weeks
Y - Proceed to 5

5. Do we both kind of feel 'meh' about the movie, this would indicate a compromise?
N - Try again in 6 weeks
Y - Proceed to 6

6. Are there seats available for the 'meh' movie NOT located in the lower rows?
N - Try again in 6 weeks
Y - Proceed to 7

7. Did the babysitter show up on time?
N - Try again in 6 weeks
Y - Proceed to the theater

It's a powerful process that will allow you to see movies you don't want to not see.

I was watching "Jack Ryan," and the first two times my wife walked through the room he was sitting at his desk and using the phone or computer. She assumed I was watching "The Office." The next time through, Jim was holding a grenade and fighting off terrorists. She was super confused :)

Who do you guys want to see play Bond moving forward with this being Daniel Craig's last go of it?

Henry Cavill, Charlie Hunnam, John Boyega, or Tom Hiddleston.

I love all those choices. I'll throw in the popular Idris Elba pick in there. I also think Richard Madden from Bodyguard could be a solid choice.

I'll be honest my real choice would be Cillian Murphy but I don't know about an Irish actor playing the most famous fictional Brit of all-time.

If anyone could pull it off, it would be Murphy. He's a fantastic actor.

Isn't Pierce Brosnan Irish?

Well I'll be damned. And duh, I guess Connery was Scottish. Alright, Murphy for Bond!

Binged Costner's Yellowstone over the holiday weekend. I was hooked. I also realized my dreams of what being a cowboy was like when I was 6 are not remotely what actually being a cowboy is like.

Never been into the Bond stuff much, but I'd have to watch if Cillian signed on.

I'm going with Channing Tatum, or Taron Egerton holding down two Spy franchises at the same time.

Tom Hardy?

I would like to see a woman because the outrage would be hilarious.

Short of that Idris Elba, Richard Maddon, Robert Pattinson, Jamie Dornan are names of actors.

I like the Pattinson idea but I don't know if you're legally allowed to be Batman and James Bond at the same time. Seems like... overkill [shoots evil henchman from overhead air duct]

Hiddleston in The Night Manager is every bit what you expect someone playing Bond to be.

I'm not really a big Bond fan but I'll sometimes check them out. I'd be more interested in seeing them if it were Elba or Madden.

Is it a safe assumption that with the Lashana Lynch thing, 007 and the new Bond will be two separate things? Or do we think they'll just pretend Lashana Lynch never happened or something? I've never really paid attention to what they do when they replace Bond; is it like all the different Spider-Mans we've seen in the past decade where it's just a hard reset?

Edit: Also, am I crazy for thinking Daniel Kaluuya would be a good Bond?

Needed something to fall asleep to around midnight last night so I picked Luther since it came with Prime. I think I tried it for ten minutes almost a decade ago but turned it off because I couldn't understand what Stringer was saying.

Ended up watching two episodes and goddamn I'm hooked. Elba is so good but HOLY **** RUTH WILSON.
