So Jaylen Brown has been looking much more like the player many expected after his Sophomore season.

Crazy thought, but maybe Kyrie was a hindrance :reporter:

On Simmons pod yesterday he’s already gloating about how much better the Nets are with Kyrie off the court.

As the years go on I'm happy to have my take on Kyrie be proven more and more correct. So far at least. That said, it's not like I don't realize he's an incredibly talented player or that I think he 'sucks'.

I’m all for holding the league accountable, but this just reeks of Houston’s entire front office being petty.

Pretty much every knowledgeable basketball fan knows that Kyrie is and has never been in that "superstar" tier, but lol at all the victory laps being taken by Boston homers and every other fan with an axe to grind against him. Like him not capable of being a #1 on a title contender is this ultimate indictment against him and negates all the clutch playoff stuff he's done in the past.

These were the same people that were talking up a Celtics dynasty the second he got traded there. It's like they forget that Durant is gonna be the clear #1 on that team once he's healthy and then Kyrie can settle back into his role as one of the league's best sidekicks.

Acting like it's the first missed call to cost someone a game. It's frustrating, move on. This all goes back to the fact that the entire organization has an unhealthy dependence on refereeing in general. Nobody would be more **** than them if the whistles stopped coming.

Watching Raptors Rockets, the Toronto announcers are brutal. Novak level.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Pretty wild how badly the Spurs screwed up there. All because of a Morris brother.

Kinda disappointed with denver and utah.

Is Philly the most overrated team in NBA history? Probably.

Bertans is 8 for 8 and 6 for 6 on threes with 22 points in the first half alone. The dude is a hell of a shooter. I have no idea why Pop got rid of him. He'd be a great fit on the Bucks.

Also, Rui Hachimura looks like he'll be a good player.

It's been painful. Also, NBA refs are awful at officiating defenders who keep their arms up.

Harden with only three shots in the 1st half. He's been comfortable deferring and pulling OG toward mid-court to create space.

This is basically exactly what I was going to post. Helluva player, not really a guy who makes the others around him better though.

The efforts to bag him once he's out the door... it's like a messy divorce.

I was bullish on WB on Houston but might have to take a big L on that one. He has been brutal.

Yep, Kyrie is a fantastic individual player but just doesn’t seem to operate well as part of a team. It worked with Cleveland as Bron ran the team allowing Kyrie to be Kyrie. It actually again might work out OK once KD is back.

Bertans is a flamethrower. The only problem is he us rated pretty terribly on defense. Still, if the bucks liked Mirotic they have got to be absolutely creaming their pants over Bertans.

Is he worth indy first? I just dont know. My intuition is no, but ill leave that to bud and co to decide.

The sooner Philly parts way with Simmons, the better for them. It isn't going to work.

hopefully they keep bashing their heads into the wall
