Kairi Sane and Asuka are a perfect match. I thought, like everyone else, that they were being thrown together because they were the two Japanese women on the main roster. Turns out that their personalities (the two best in the whole company) mesh really well as a team, in the ring and out. Their visual transformation has been incredible. Kairi strikes me as someone who will change her look drastically a dozen times in her career.

Well done, WWE!
I'm a fan as well. Kairi, as adorable as she is, is super effective as a heel. Her interactions with Io whenever they bump into each other is a genius and subtle way of connecting them and planting seeds for future feuds.

As for Asuka, better to let go of her "NXT unbeatable" facade. She has developed a character that relies on dirty tactics, highlighted with the mist, and it works. Her spitting is a "must see" and something to look forward to in her matches.

Agree on Kairi, it's a shame that there's rumblings that she wants out of the WWE.

Kairi is in a tough spot within the WWE. While I think she would be pushed eventually if she stayed in the WWE, the fact is she's not as well regarded a worker as Io Shirai, and Asuka is more established within the WWE hierarchy. Now, Asuka will probably retire within 5 years or so, but she still would be under Io's shadow AGAIN, even though she has accomplished more than Io has in the WWE (There are no signs Io is winning the NXT title anytime in the next 5 months)

Having said that, I always believed Kairi was a more charismatic performer than Io Shirai, and that Io would struggle more on the main roster when she doesn't have as much freedom to show off her ring work and have to rely solely on character... and you know main roster fans don't really care about how many flips people can do in the ring (or even ring work in general--many main roster WWE fans don't really care so much about good matches as NXT fans do). While Io's heel run on NXT has been great, it's clear her overness is partly Jeff Hardy-like in that she's popular for her daredevil stunts. Now, obviously we know Io is more than just a spot monkey, but she won't get to show that if she doesn't get 10-15 minute matches a week, and main roster women's matches can range from 2 minutes to 20, depending on the persons involved. Sometimes, you only have 2 minutes to make an impression every week and that would seriously hurt Io's strengths as a performers.

Wrestling is dying....

At least for me it is.... I can't do this anymore. Been watching for almost 35 years straight consistently. Now it's
just a bad habit I can't kick and a complete waste of time. I didn't even watch Smackdown last week and this week
watching RAW is insufferable and just painful even though its just on the background like it is most weeks.

The Classic pointless filler 6-man Tag-Team match is the main event and it's about to start I changed the channel and
started watching a random Bulls vs. Kings game.

I've tried watching and supporting everything... NWA, Impact and parts of AEW were god awful this week. I can't keep
up anymore and it's more a nuisance then something that's enjoyable.

Yes the booking is bad across the board but so many wrestlers don't have "it" and it just feels like I'm watching people
that are fans cosplaying being wrestlers and it's cringe.

My plan for 2020 is to just watch PPV's and if anything meaningful happens on weekly TV I'll watch Youtube clips

I was at the AEW show last week, and I will say they got a long way to go still. The first 20 minutes was a very WWE-like goofy segment. Also, we always complain about how WWE main roster waters guys down, right? Well serious question: has Kenny Omega had a NJPW Kenny Omega quality match yet? I feel like in AEW he's just been ok. His best AEW match thus far was at full gear, and that was a gimmick weapons match. His 1st battle with Neville at all -out (which I also attended!) Was very good, but still not NJPW Kenny good

Yeah, I feel like legacy wise, Kenny Omega made the wrong choice with AEW. There really isn't anyone on that current roster (outside of Pac but they had poor chemistry) that is capable of giving Omega a 5*.

Yeah Kenny Omega has been one of the biggest disappointments in AEW he is just not the same as he was in NJPW...

I'm probably gonna retire/get banned from these boards. Maybe it's the Austin/ECW rebellious side of me but
I don't take crap from people especially when I'm being nice and civil. Got in a fight with one of the big mods here
yesterday and felt he completely misread the situation and he started talking down to me so I called out his modding
right back got pretty ugly and the PMs aren't pretty.

2020 could be the start of a lot of changes for me lol

Hey when did you leave the Wizards to join the Bucks?

This is what kills me...

I even stated that I have great respect for the Bucks as a team could be one of the best in the modern era. Whether
it was casuals or Bucks fans stated that Giannis is already in the Lebron, Kawhi etc category I took exception to that
claim and talked about how he's gotta do it in the playoffs first cited what went wrong. Everything completely true
and factual somehow this is some made up narrative of mine so I post tons of Youtube videos of what every analyst
said during the playoffs. They say don't shoot the messenger well I got shot. To my memory I never personally insulted
or attacked anybody or the Bucks franchise or their fans.

Literally the day before somebody made a thread about if Porzingis will end up being jealous of Doncic? I asked
if they were from the same country (yeah maybe I was being lazy and should've googled it) but like 7 pages later
I get these offended European guys claiming I was an ignorant American that didn't know about Europe of the Baltic
Sea or some nonsense so I explained to them it was a harmless question with no ill will or bad intent and people just
came on piling on making these wild assumptions trying to paint me into some corner I wasn't in thought I was in the
twilight zone anyways the thread gets derailed flame war ensues and I was like wow I guess the mods have lightnend
up on here and let anything go.

I have no problem with like 95% of the mods on here there are a couple of bad ones that get away with stuff that
nobody holds accountable. My thing is if you have these "rules" then enforce them all the time. If you're gonna interject
yourself into a feud then read up on the whole history and not just see a guy defending himself to some people
and automatically think he's the bad guy or in the wrong that's lazy modding. Also if two people are beefing and
breaking the "rules" then penalize both or all parties involved.

I've got into no DQ street fights several times with Stanford on here he's never given me a ban or warning and
literally the next day or 2 we're talking about a new topic like nothing happened.

On the Raptors board I talked about this and some guy chimes in with a cheap shot about my username being
Scott Hall and takes a shot about wrestling with these types of posters I always give out receipts and just give
them their snarly bad attitude right back sometimes in the past I have insulted a guy got the warning and took the L
without any complaints.

The Bucks thing was probably the most mildest softest "debate" I've ever been apart of and the Global mod actually
personally attacks me in his warning which is the ironic part since me and the Bucks fans never said that and isn't he
supposed to set an example instead of breaking the rules himself? I still have not heard what I said that got the warning.
