It's not like people just decided to take his career away from him and call him washed. His attitude and play on the court since leaving the Knicks signaled those things.

Again, the attitude thing was narrative, he has always been a good teammate. I agree though his play on the court was not good and stopping to play the game for a while made him reevaluate how he needs to play. As much as I liked Hezonja and I thought he would break out, I was wrong and he is a scrub, signing Melo to replace him is a no brainer if he can be integrated in your system, and at least the chemistry seems to be good.

Matter of time before you get answers to your questions

Even with Collins out the Hawks have been a pretty huge disappointment. 5-17 worst point differential in the league yikes

In theory... i think if you trade both Ben and Biid for Giannis, you’ll end up with a better team than what we have now.

Giannis, Tobi, JRich and Horford would be legit contenders IMO.

We'd be better, but contenders for what? Giannis can't score in the halfcourt in the playoffs on a championship run. We'd still have the same need. A star all-level scorer that can close games.

The Bucks and Lakers are both 20-3. Great regular season teams. The Lakers have nobody to close games down the stretch and the Bucks will be relying on Khris Middleton as their go-to guy. Just seem like paper tigers, to me.

The Sixers have a lot of games left against those two teams, 4 against the Bucks and 2 with the Lakers. Because of that they have the 5th hardest remaining schedule according to this list:

Those will be fun games to watch.

That's an outdated take on Towns' defense. With Joel's regressions and Towns' improvement, an argument can be made that they're about equal defensively right now. With Towns being far superior offensively.

I don't understand how people expect 20-24 year olds in losing organizations to be winning players. That's not how the NBA works. Once you get to your mid to late 20s, you usually learn how to make consistent winning plays. Judging them before that age range is pointless.

Biggest problem with the Lakers is after Bron and AD, there’s a really big gap. Like Kuzma being their 3rd best scorer at 11ppg and really bad %s.

Towns got crazy numbers on offense that can more than make up any gap he has on Embiid’s defense.

No, Towns is TERRIBLE defensively. Joel Embiid and Anthony towns are not even in the same universe defensively. If Jo was in Minnesota with that collection of crap he would score 35 points per game. They have nothing else.

I watched the entire Minnesota Timberwolves Los Angeles Lakers game last night and Anthony Davis went through towns like he wasn’t even there scoring 50 points. Do you think he’d do that against Joel Embiid?
