Love Giannis but I think he just knows to say the right things but doesn't really mesh with reality. He's in 4-5 commercials every time I watched a Bucks game, rumored to have been involved with a Disney movie, helped designed a signature show, etc. I'm sure he turned down other things, so he isn't lying but as he has shown you can be 100% committed and still do these endorsements.

"Shaq, Doncic had a strong November. Is he your Western Conference Player of the Month."
"Nah-uh, Ern. Gotta go with Giannis."
"But Diesel, Giannis plays for the Bucks. In the Eastern Conference. He's not eligible."
"Don't even matter. Gotta go with Giannis. Too big. Too strong. Can't be stopped."

So a lot of complains pre season and during early etc about Giannis shooting and we see him improving massively , you think its ok now ,can he sustain it at 30-35 % range???

Does he need to shoot more or less?

Honestly at this point with the work ethic he has and how much hes improved every year it wouldnt surprise me if in a couple years hes bombing them from curry range right in defenders faces.

Just keep doing what he's doing.

His 3ball is coming.
His fade away jumper in the paint is coming.
His drives are more in control.
His repertoire of moves has increased, so he's less predictable.
He's more confident posting up.

It's all coming together. It's incredible to watch every game.

im pleased he makes a lot of shots from the spot where he usually loves to drive, this confuses the hell out of defenders

The 4 man wall will be the new 3 man wall by April the latest.
Just wait and you will see.

3 defenders in a straight line to cut down all of Giannis driving options as the 3 man wall but with one extra defender in front of them to also contest all of Giannis' 3s. The remaining defender is free to guard the 4 teammates of Giannis.

Giannis won't have open looks for 3s, he will have to drive by the defender, hit the wall of 3 men and get exposed.

Just wait and teams will adjust to that.

Giannis makes me so happy. I'm going to be absolutely gutted if/when he leaves the Bucks, either through retirement, free agency, or trade. He's a genuine human being, and an incredible talent. We are so, so lucky that John Hammond's **** tenure can luckily be entirely distilled because he drafted an unknown Greek kid with a work ethic that is rarely paralleled, with even a bigger heart than that.

I don't have a good read on this, but when other players decide to leave through free agency when they are genuinely loved in their current town, do they act how Giannis has acted? I know that Kyrie historically doubled back on what he had said in Boston, but what about like Durant? Giannis genuinely seems like a guy who wants to stay in Milwaukee. I just don't have any idea of how other players have acted in similar situations to take it as possible gospel that he really wants to stay here.

Ah of course, the rebounds will keep him ahead of Lebron in these things while he's behind in the other categories.
