Team's looking good, no doubt. Noticed AD was only a +6.....what a bum. Sure wish we could trade that guy.

Good point, I'm actually really curious how Melo responds to getting crushed by LeBron/Lakers... It might kind of have been the nail in the coffin of that feel good story.

I do not think it is the end of the Melo story, but I do think losing Hood hurts them and they will need another move. I just do not see Melo and Bazemore starting with no bench working. Same with Mario or Toliver being the 4 and Melo at the 3 unless he got more in the tank they we knew. Dec 15 might be their friend.

JR Smith might be a good add for them to be honest

The Melo story is over. Your watching the original show's spinoff at this point. Kramer to Cheers (did I just date myself,or what??) and all that stuff. I don't care about the guy, and I am not worried that he will contribute a bunch. And so, that team will be just about exactly what it was last year....maybe even worse.

On a plus to the Blazers: There will no doubt be people who still think Melo is good...and when that team doesn't go anywhere yet again...it may be the wake up call they need. I think Lillard is an amazing talent, and It's a damn shame watching him rot away up there. They should have done a major shakeup like 3 years ago, and tried to make something happen. I used to compare Portland to Toronto. A decent team that was a first-round out each year....and just going nowhere. Toronto, to their credit, swung big. Yes...GS should have won...yada yada yada....but at the end of the day, Toronto is selling all the 2019 World Champs gear.

But whatever happens....I'm just really glad that Melo is not a Laker.
