But he is playing in Australia against professional players, isnt he?

What’s everYones thoughts on RJ Hampton

Watching his breakdown on YouTube with mike Schmitz he seems like an extremely high iq kid.
His speed is absolutely ridiculous. He is a blur in the open court. And his vision seems to be fantastic
Great height at 6’6 and his defense seems to be pretty solid.

I think he prolly rounds out my top 3 for my big board

To be fair Ant-Man is also at only 41.9.

The efficiency of the guards in this draft class worries me. I’d still go with Wiseman if we get the #1 pick.

I’m back and forth on lamelo and Edwards.
I know Schmitz will be releasing his film breakdown with Edwards soon so it’ll be fun to watch that

Gun to my head today I think I take lamelo
Edwards is the way safer pick With a high ceiling but I don’t think anyone has lamelos potential ceiling. Talking about a potentially truly gifted player

Im with you. Wiseman seems like the safest pick right now.

I am not too worried about Edwards though. Past 3 games he has started to be more efficient. Edwards still my #2. Now Cole Anthony on the other hand.. he's getting worse and worse. Here's his stat line of his game today

4-15 FG. 1-6 From 3. 3-6 FT. 0 Assists. 6 Turnovers. Just 12 points. I am not sure how people would still take Cole Anthony as the #1 pick. He's def not it. Let alone, he not even in my top 4. I hope the Knicks dont end up with him. With all his flaws and the Knicks having a poor track record of developing players, it's a receipe for disaster imo.

If we take Wiseman number 1 we screw everyone.

According to Tankathon
we are
1
2 GS
3 CL

Neither 2 or 3 has space for a pg or sg.

If we took wiseman. There is potential to trade for antoher one of those picks.
I'm bored tonight but humor me.
We take Wiseman 1
offer Rj to GS for the number 2
take Edwards
offer Mitch Knox and 1 Dallas Pick for 3
we take Lamelo.

Next year
Lamelo
Edwards
SF
PF
Wiseman

Thats a step in the right direction. I know its not gonna happen but would you do it?

im taking edwards and not looking back and i like lamelo but he would be the next option for me if anything. This team desperately needs a go to guy who can score at will and do it efficiently just as much as we need a point guard.

Edwards
RJ
Mitch

you wouldnt need a Dominant point guard here. id try to snatch up vanfleet in free agency he'd be a perfect fit.

Cole’s low A/TO is a concern. Ja also didn’t have the most skilled teammates but he still managed to have very good assist totals.

I view Cole more of an undersized SG which might work well though with Frank as a backcourt partner.

I like your thinking here. A lot of the teams in the lottery could have their backcourts already set and may have Wiseman on top most of their boards.

Given that Edwards gives off a shorter KD vibe I think Warriors may end up just getting him then sliding Klay to SF. Russell would then be shopped around in exchange for depth. If I were GSW I would explore trading DLo to the TWolves in exchange for Covington, Culver and Dieng.

The Cavs would be in a tight spot here given that it would be PGs from 3 onwards and they already have 2 in the starting lineup. It would be RJ that I think the Cavs will be highly enamored with but I would be inclined to keep him especially under this scenario we would be teaming him up with his good buddy James Wiseman.

I’m def taking Wiseman #1 too... dude is built like Dwight, as athletic as Amare, and has the touch of Bosh.

No way I’m trading RJ tho... aren’t him n Wiseman boys? I know I heard James say he wanted to play with RJ the most out of everyone in the league. Everyone else can go tho...

We could trade down the pick with Cleveland for a 2021 FRP and choose Edwards or LaMello.

I’ll trade anything outside of rj to gain a 2nd too 3 pick

Lamelo and wiseman with Barrett would be fantastic.

You make that happen while keeping Barrett and it’s a serious team moving forward. Get a stretch 4 and a sniper at the 2

Lamelo
?
Barrett
?
Wiseman

Thats the thing that bothered me the most about this regime. They would never be creative enough to pull this type of move off.

Masai or presti would be.

the fear of picks turning into gold unprotected is what scares them from making moves, but if you have conviction you go and get the guy. No matter the price. You just need to be sure about him. I wanted the knicks to move up for doncic Tatum and fox. In hindsight with who they drafted in the classes we would have been better off with just one of them.

I’d love for someone to get creative and come in and pair up a duo of the top 5 this year to go along with Barrett. Just odds are highly unlikely. Especially cause you need two to tango (someone willing to trade out )

Is he really that athletic? - as in run/jump circles around and drop 40+ points on Tim Duncan's head during the Western conference playoffs athletic?

Return to New York Knicks
