That's not his name at all. Far from it. With Vuc playing the last time we faced the Bucks, we got blown out. When we relied on our wing scoring and let our guys get into a groove, we kept it close. Vuch AG for DeAngelo Russell makes so much sense right now.

No. AG gives this team a defensive identity. We need to complement it with more wing scoring.

All we need from our center is just competency at center things. We don't need a high usage scoring center whos unreliable in performing against good teams with physical centers. Especially one with the glaring weaknesses that Vuc has - he's not physical, doesn't get to the line, often gets outplayed by opposing physical centers, and isn't gonna will your team to wins on a nightly basis consistently.

We can easily utilize a cheap center that defends well and rebounds. Spread around Vuc's shots to our wings which would now include DLO. With Cliff's defense, we'd be deadly.

There's no doubt that AG is an elite defender, but he also kills spacing and has poor BBIQ.

Pairing an All-Star like Russell with an All-Star like Vuc is something we should want. A lot more space and a go-to scorer to go along with the elite defense most of our team can play balances us out a lot more.

Our perimeter defense would suffer immensely if we traded AG and Vuc is not good enough defensively to cover for that. If we want to be elite and both defense and offense, the better way is to get a center that can defend and rebound and just keep getting scoring wings.

So what, tho? ORL has a top defense and it gets us nowhere further than lower playoff spots at best. How do we add more wing shooting with AG playing wing? Fournier already is giving us above league average shooting from SG. Ross is now finally giving us the same. I presume you're not advocating for Isaac to be ditched for a sharpshooter. Vooch being replaced by a stock center would bring down our 3-pt options Nd overall scoring.

I don't understand.

Personally, I don't think Gordon and Isaac can coexist together. I like Gordon more than many, but the blend is wrong and the truth.is.that elite offense is worth more than elite defense.in.the league today.

Where I agree on Vooch is that his character is very passive for a no.1 option player. Even Clifford remarks that the one thing holding Vooch back is belief in himself.

I might get shot for this suggestion, but I would trade Gordon to the Nets for Dinwiddie and Temple. I simultaneously trade Ross and Augustin to Cleveland for Kevin Love and Dylan Windler.

Guards
Fultz, Dinwiddie, MCW, Temple,
Wings
Fournier Isaac Aminu Iwundu , Windler (Okeke)
Bigs
Vucevic, Love, Bamba, Birch, Aminu

That's a team full of unselfish smart players who can find the open guy Vs any scheme or lineup.
Love is expensive and an injury risk, but he's our best chance of a star and would work great with Vooch and Fournier.

Switchability on D is ridiculous still, despite the loss of AG.

Dinwiddie gives us a great combo guard who fits the scheme perfectly. Temple is a journeyman we take on to make salaries work but who is a decent bench option.

Love and Vooch pulling strings in and out of the paint could be special.
