I have never posted on the Brewers board and I don't plan to start because of this series.

Go Cubs!

Haha I don't even look into or read this forum but I'm superstitious so I just thought what the hell the Brewers suck when I don't look or post in here so why not try it and see if it changes?

I don't wanna troll over to the Brewer board and I know Brewer fans will be trolling here so I'll ask it right here...

Hows it feel to be in 3rd place?

I don't mean to troll, however I just have a quick question. I will be going to the game on Thursday, and am sitting in the bleachers. I will be decked out in brewer gear, like any other brewer fan however, I ask what should I expect?

I am all for heckling, hell I would chant A-Hole at a cubs fan in Miller Park, but I have herd horror stories and don't want to wear my expensive throw back if I am going to have beers and nachos tossed my way.

Sometimes people can get angry, but usually the mood is fun/happy/Go Cubs type. You're bound to find other Brewers fans as well. I wouldn't expect anything unless the Brewers are clobbering the Cubs.

I wouldn't expect all that much hostility if you're quietly enjoying the game. But if you're rubbing it in bleacher bums' faces whenever a Brewer gets a hit...I'd probably wear a poncho over that throwback.

If you just sit and enjoy the game and not try and dont be overly obnoxious or overly and Im talking OVERLY supportive of your team to the point where people get bothered by you, then you should be fine. Expect alotta weird and mean grins though walking around in your Brewer gear though. After all, you will be in hostile territory.

P.S. Dont go to the game. You're going to lose.

Wear that throwback. Have a good time. Cheer when its appropriate. Don't heckle the Cub outfielders. You should be fine. Cub fans, even drunk, are respectful, unless of course you aren't.

There are a lot of opposing team's fans that are always at the ballpark. Its Wrigley field what can you expect. It a baseball shrine. Wear your throwback proudly.

...oh and make sure you have a spare baseball, 'cause if you don't throw it back, they'll throw something at you.

Adding to that: ...or the Cubs are losing, then they're more likely to throw stuff on the field rather than throw anything at you.

A new tradition I hate.
