More like nine seasons. People seriously underrate what Ersan adds to a team. He always knows where to be and what to do on offense and defense.

He had some moments in the playoffs, but did you watch him in the ECF? He was atrocious. Invisible. A total non-entity.

Ok. So was Giannis, doesn't mean I'm not trusting him in the Playoffs. Middleton's been marvelous in every other series.

When the pressure has been off Khris has been wonderful.

When Giannis is being quadruple teamed, of course he's going to struggle. What's Khris's excuse? He should have been feasting off of Giannis. Instead, he was barely there. It wasn't just an underwhelming performance from Khris. He literally put up numbers you'd expect from your 8th guy instead of your #2.

I agree. I dont think you can trade Ersan unless you are bringing in a serious needle mover. He plays winning basketball.

So it's not like the Wizards would insist on Ersan in a Bertans trade, rather it'd just be about getting contracts to work alongside the Pacers pick.

Ersan has a convenient contract towards these ends, however, there are other non-Ersan-based Bertans scenarios that could work:

1. RoLo + Bender + Pacers pick

2. DJ + Korver + Bender + Pacers pick

I similarly would get arguments it wouldn't be worth jettisoning the lesser Lopez or Wilson or even coach's pet Korver considering how well our team is doing right now.

But someone would lose out on minutes if we were to get Bertans, so if we really valued him highly enough to deal one of the few future firsts we have in the foreseeable future, I think we'd figure out the pieces needed to make the salaries work under the cap.

The Bucks cannot afford to trade either Lopez brother or Ilyasova without getting a big defender in return. If one of those three is lost to injury the Bucks are would be incredibly vulnerable in the paint. They need three big defenders.

Still really want Bogdan but I am now unwilling to use DDV in a trade. Bogdan is still something this team is missing a primary off ball threat who is great secondary playmaker. Not to mention the ice in his veins. The Kings will not make him a starter and I think he wants to be one. I trust his shot creation abilities and think his numbers would balloon I'm Buds system. Seems like a pipe dream now. Despite this teams obvious greatness it's all about April. I won't trust our secondary options until they show out on the biggest stage. A finals appearance isn't enough lol. I want that ring and I believe Bogdan could be a all Star calbier player with the right coach/system. People might be worried about chemistry. But I think his fire and competitive spirit match Giannis to a T.

Ohh yeah DDV is the perfect complimentary piece. He also has room to improve to be a 3rd option imo. It all depends on if he can improve his ability to finish through contact. Also his off the dribble three needs to make a huge jump. But his baseline skills like handles defense and off the catch shooting make for a long career. He sort of reminds me of young George Hill lol.

If this is the case then maybe DJ would be the odd man out.

At least if the Bucks want to make a move with the Pacers pick and need some salary to attach.

DJ + Bender + Korver (or Sterling Brown) -- paired with the Pacers pick -- is enough salary for the Bucks to acquire either Bogdon or Bertans.

Now I don't know if the Bucks value either of those guys enough to trade a FRP as well as shuffle up our lineup.

But if we did, that package seems like plenty of value to at least be in the discussion with the Kings and Wizards.

Maybe we'd be willing to include Brown over Korver but I can't see Donte being on the table in either scenario.

Something to remember about trading Korver or Ersan is that they will likely then receive their release to sign with a contender, and potentially end up in Philly.

Lowe on this Woj/Lowe trade show saying the Bucks are interested in RoCo and Redick and will take a look if they become available, and would go into the tax for the right move

Not the type of players the Bucks need. Another old guy in the case of Redick. Right combo of experience and relative youth w/ Covington but not good enough defense or another core player. Bucks need 3+d big wings or offensive creators who don't bog them down who are preferably around the average age for the NBA - Crowder or Holiday as examples.

I’m confused on this Roco take, good Roco is one of the better 3&D role player wings in the game and the hope would be he’d have a resurgence similar to what Wes and Hill have seen here. No doubt in my mind that Roco would be good here if he’s healthy and has time to get comfortable.
