Huerter has also missed major time and has never found a groove this season, he just got hurt last game as well. Let's be honest that roster is impossible for any kid to carry and Trae doesn't have the luxury of being coached under Carlisle and his system. Despite all this Trae is still a +4 player, he is really good.

I don't think Collins is a winning player (at least last years Collins). Though I also doubt the Hawks have any intentions of actually trying to win.

Well historically the Hawks have won more with Collins, the options like Len and Jones behind him are terrible

Reddish has been running on some crazy high school hype. He's shot like pure garbage at every level since.

Oh I don't doubt Collins will improve the Hawks coming back but I doubt very much that they'll suddenly become a playoff team.

Agree, but that has little to do with Trae

Of course I overall agree on your ATL points. But, just adding that 2nd half last year they weren't bad. Sure, it's 2nd half so other teams aren't trying as much but they were OK. I quick ran through the schedule and they finished 17-25 in the last 42 games. Lost the last 3 in what should be tank time. 17-22 prior to that is just a bit below eastern playoff level. Just saying they were one of the more entertaining teams in the 2nd half last year that could've maybe taken a step up this year as their young guys got a year older.

They were smart not to jump the gun though and instead spent the offseason getting paid to take on bad contracts.

Heat are down 8 to the Grizzlies late, I fully expect the Heat to win in overtime for the 37th time this season lol.

Memphis seems to be in a great situation. Ja/Clarke/JJJ are on cheap contracts for years to come and already look ready for greatness, Valanciunas/Anderson/Jones seem acceptable for roster fillers, still young and not horribly overpaid, and they have a tonne of bad money coming off the books this summer.

No idea what it's like to live in Memphis but otherwise what a great landing spot for a free agent.

Ridiculously ineffecient in his one college season despite the fact he was basically wide open from three all the time with teams just building a wall. Like his team was better with O'Connell on the floor rather than him and O'Connell is basically barely a division 1 rotational player.

I wouldn't have drafted Cam even in the second round. He won't get a second NBA contract.

I wouldn’t be in a rush to trade Redick or Jrue until Zion is back (or you get a deal too good to refuse).

I swear every other made basket for the Lakers is an alley-oop.

EDIT: And not just against the Pacers, it's every time I watch the Lakers.

Can you imagine how revered Alex Caruso would be in Indiana?

Seems unlikely to play on Thursday if he's missing a shoulder.

Great move by Brogdan to out Pacers up 2 over the Lakers. :36.4 remaining.
