I wanna buy into the Lakers but I'm hesitant, they need at least another playmaker, unless Playoff Rondo is truly a god

Clips have a lot of playmaker's, but not guys who could/would set and control an offense. They should invest in a back-up point or try to get sumn nice for Pat

Oh Ok.

I'm like bish I'm a lttile LAL skeptic. Kuzma is a mess and other role players are iffy too.

Clippers though.. a lot of injuries already as somewhat expected. If Kawhi holds up they look mostly unbeatable dou.

Yeah, I think "No one on the Clippers can guard AD" thing is massively overrated. He mostly takes Kobe shots, when he faces non scrubs in 1-on-1 situations. So if they can slow down Lebron by 5-10% - it's Clips in 5

Good point. AD has surprised me with his defense (a lot of game winning blocks/alter shots) but offense is pretty underwhelming. He doesn't have any post moves and just tries to shoot over people. Kinda makes sense that he doesn't have much playoff success.

Yeah, he's pretty great defensively, but PG and Kawhi mostly shoot jump shots. His rim protection will be valuable, but a little bit diminished

TJ Warren trade's still one of the more confusing things to happen last summer

Outside of the fact of Pacers having 3 TJ's

Try winning a bunch of games with Charles Oakley and Dave Corzine as 2 of the top scorers on the team. To show my age, I watched those games as a teen and the lack of talent was incredible, especially when you compared their talent to all the teams they played against.
there is no question to me that MJ was a lot better then Harden when MJ was Alone, MJ what's an innovator as well as being an incredible player on defense and offense... but what he had around him was no trash, oak could play man, he had a supremely high basketball IQ, one of the the highest I have seen On A Man of his size

Oakley is just one player, so 2-3 decent players in a rotation of 8-9, yes, the rest of the team was trash. It's why Chicago had high drafts picks till around 1990.
the recession I say rest of bulls was no trash was because he could not win it all when Grant and Pippen where rookies either,, something had to click inside MJ for them to get over the hump

Pippen was bad his rookie year(0 starts), he was a project(I remember me and my dad arguing about Pippen's upside that rookie year), Grant not so much but couldn't just beat out D.Corzine or B.Sellers to get more time then them his rookie year, that was 87-88(which they won 50 games). THE VERY NEXT YEAR Chicago still wasn't a strong roster(Pippen didn't even start all the games he played in) but the Bulls took the eventual champs(Detroit) to 6 games in the ECF, the next year after that they took the eventual champs(Detroit) to 7 games in the ECF. The only team that could really stop them was Detroit because of the NBA allowed to play dirty back then (which would be flagrant 2s now) putting players to ground, it wasn't exactly "basketball" that Detroit played and was discussed in length at that time too. Lamber mentions that all you had to do is stop Jordan because nobody else on that team could beat you. Detroit's commentator back then mentions everyone knew it, you put him to the floor, you had to make him think if he goes into the air he could get hurt(that to me is not basketball). The Jordan Rules worked because the Pistons could concentrate on Jordan so much without worrying about the rest of the team(the team had potential but still wasn't good around Jordan).

MJ got more cerebral as he aged, but had you put a young MJ on a good team, he would have easily carried them to a Championship, he almost did it with bad/trash rosters.
