hmm do you guys think possible knee issue is why Cole looks not as athletic as expected? would also help explain his poor finishing.

Cole looks extremely average for a D1 NCAA baller to me.

Even his high school tape.

He has really good stop on a dime skill. So the NBA size court with NBA athletes and NBA spacing will help him. But he's not even a dpecial run jump athlete for high level high schoolers imo.

Rediculous skill.

Reading that tweet my immediate thought is his draft stock is sinking so his camp is looking for reasons to hold him out.

I used to compare him to Arenas now I'm thinking less athletic, but better teammate Kyrie.

While Cole is worse than expected (superstar gaurd comparisons might have been too much)

I still think the rest of this draft isn’t good enough to justify Cole outside the top 4. I think he’s got an extremely high chance to at least be a starter. Which I can’t really say about a lot of players in this draft

Cole reminds me of D-Rose kinda, not MVP D-Rose but closer to the D-Rose we see today, maybe more consistent but that's what I'm expecting in the NBA for him

Ive liked what Cole has done on defense for the most part too. So if he can be current Rose and at least a average defender thats at least a starter level player

Alhough his game seems way more perimeter/jumper focused than Roses is

Yeah, while Rose can hit the 3, he seems much more comfortable driving to the hoop. I think Cole's NBA game will be more of a jump-shooter - even though his shooting has been bad lately.

Overall, this draft looks really bad at the top 5 to 10 picks but pretty decent after the top 10. If I have a high pick, I'm looking to trade down.

i wonder how many of the PGs are gonna return to school given next year's class is pretty shallow at PG while this one's pretty deep at the position...

how many PGs are projected in the 1st right now?

Cole Anthony
LaMelo Ball
Nico Mannion
Theo Maledon
Tyrese Haliburton
Killian Hayes
Tre Jones

that's at least 7, and that does not include combo guards like RJ and Maxey

I think one of the top 7 should go back to school, maybe Nico (even tho he's probably my favorite of the group).

Wouldn’t be surprised if Cole just sat out the rest of the year

Yves Pons probably should go back to school at this point still but this development from last year has been incredible so far

I think Oregon with Dante fully integrated will be the #1 team in the country.

Are we just going to pretend that Paul Reed isnt Thybulle/Brandon Clarke 2.0?.... Hopefully GMs have learned their lesson, but probably not

I don't think he's really like either of those guys, but as a 2 time DePaul grad I do love him!

He reminds me more of a Siakem type. less athletic, but a better shooter at least at this point in their respective careers.

So if UNC continues to lose without Cole, does Cole decide to return? Or with a chance of them not making the tournament not worth him returning? Or does he return no matter what to try and lift his draft stock?

He takes the 1st thing smoking out of there. 21 isn't a class he wants to be in.-

21 class is pretty shallow at PG though that might be the only reason, but yea he's gone either way

This is simple, Cole if anything won't play at all anymore, shut it down, and declare, he is easily going top10 with strong workouts/interviews

No need to think about it
