We lost the first game. We really would've lost that second game unless PG, Lou, and Kawhi didn't go nuclear in that last 55 seconds... This team worries me in Playoffs, I'm not sure if we've gotten a handle on em yet. This is gonna be a good matchup, and it's always chippy between these two. Chris Paul showed them where the secret tunnels are... all bets are off.

Same here. I would like to avoid them if possible. If Denver can play them in the first round give them a long series, I'm for it. But harden going nuclear is not something I want or need right now.

to me, houston is fool's gold, especially having to rely on westbrook. not to mention in the playoffs, harden won't get the same calls he usually flops around for.

I feel that way too but I also won't underestimate them. With the warriors being out this yr, they make look at it like this is our chance.

I don't think playing hardenball is ring material but I hope the clips stomp on their neck tonight and I hope they have to match up with the Lakers or go through Denver.

Styles makes fights

Personally speaking I think Luka and the Mavs will eliminate harden and the rockets if they play against each other since Luka is now team oriented and can give you thirty

That's why seeding has never been as important. I'd rather face the Lakers last, but that means we have to keep 2nd place. A few losses will hurt that. It's also totally a Clipper move to blow 2nd place, get like 5th, and make playoffs unnecessarily difficult for ourselves while Lakers have 1st place and easier matchups.

Nah look, anyone who says the Rockets choked or whatever has to take into consideration they were going up against the Warriors. Rockets have been on both regular season and Playoff tears right up until they go against Golden State. Truthfully, they came closer than anyone in regards to almost beating a fully healthy KD Warriors squad. Lebron had to leave Cleveland and we only took two games. With Harden's kryptonite safely out of Playoffs this year, who's going to stop them? We can say Lakers and Clippers, but that's just speculation until we actually see it in Playoffs, something we've historically underperformed at and Lakers haven't been too since Kobe had some good legs.

2 MVPs, anything but fool's gold. I mean I'm hoping I'm dead wrong and you're right lol.

I think the mavs will if they match up but it's all about match ups. I think the rockets gives us fits and I think thanks to Russell WB we can double team harden and try to have the team beat the clippers but I really just don't know. I'm hoping they don't have their **** together. I don't think they will but again I wouldn't underestimate them

It'll be the last team I'd like to see win a championship. I can't stand harden

re defense tonight:

Since the Rockets are a one-man team, I think if we meet in the playoffs, Harden is gonna get all the Kawhi he can eat. But Doc is not gonna give him a free preview: We'll give everybody a shot at him tonight, and see what sticks.

This is still an opening skirmish: not even a battle and certainly not the war. The tactics you see tonight should be straight-up vanilla.

i don't think they choked and i didn't say anything about that at all in my post

westbrook is not an efficient or effective basketball player, and the team downgraded trading away chris paul, as far as i'm concerned.

harden is a superstar but he's also one whose effectiveness is better in the RS than it is in the playoffs because flopping around like a dying fish doesn't work so well on better refs.

Some sloppy mistakes, hopefully that doesn't continue through the game

Zubac is such a stiff

we'd be up by 10 right now if we had a real center
