Future draft classes

I think it looks really good right now. If Kuminga finally reclassifies then I think it becomes an epic class.

Mobley: big long athletic 7 footer that is pretty damn skilled already.
Cade: very big PG that is extremely smart and just plays the game at anther level
Kumimga: what's not to like about this guy. 6'9 with a 7 foot wingspan and already very strong. Fantastic athlete with a very workable jumper
Green: fantastic slashing SG with good size and freakish athleticism.
Clarke: the prototypical scoring wing. Fantastic size, bouncy with a very workable jumper.
Johnson: fantastic point forward. Maybe the most gifted passer in the class and he is 6'9. Bad results on his jumper so far, but the form is good.

That to me would be my top 6 from the class and at the moment, looks like a freakishly good top 6. I also think the depth is pretty solid as well.

Clarke is meh and to me, Jalen Green is not a freak athlete, I think he is a top20 guy, but not top10

Garuba and Prkacin are better than 2-3 of those guys, Moussa Diabate is super intriguing too

Ziaire Williams, Scottie Barnes, Jaden Springer, Askew, Steward, are dudes you didn't mention who I think are really good

B.J. Boston is good too but has a terrible body, still, really talented

Garuba is for top10 at this point, Diabate looks like a potential stud to me, Prkacin not sure

not a big Clarke guy at this point, but i'm big on Jalen Green, top20 is pretty crazy to me, I don't see him falling out of the top10.

yea...looks like a really fun class, hate that the Warriors are tanking this year instead of next year given that the top end talent is better AND it's a better fit for us.

I think Jalen Green is good, I am just not as high on him as a stud guy, I think he is more of a rotation Guard than a star

Prkacin is really good, like good enough to almost challenge Usman

What separates Cade Cunningham from Luka outside of accolades and the jumper (which seems to be coming around)?

Luka appears to be a generational prospect, and I think comparisons to these type of players are always premature when we're talking about HS players.

From what I've seen, Cade doesn't have Luka's shot, doesn't have his touch either (through contact, on floaters, lay-ups), not as big, not as crafty and fundamentally sound, and as much potential as Cade has as a playmaker, I don't see him having Luka's vision and anticipation (which isn't to say that it's not great for his age, but there's maybe a handful of NBA players who can hang with 20 year old Luka Doncic in this regard, so any prospect will naturally lose this comparison).

We have to see how Cade develops of course, it's tough to say at this point when we haven't even seen him against college competition, let alone in the NBA. And I say that as a huge Cade fan, for what it's worth.

yeah i figured he'd be behind with everything if we're talking Luka now. Still trying to get an understanding on Cade and what his trajectory might be. I'm guessing the Brandon Roy comp is about as close as it's gonna get until i see him for myself. I can't really gage off of what i'm seeing at Verde because he's clearly next level compared to his peers on that level.

If Iguodala was less athletic and had more point guard skills is what I’d say.

Don’t get the Holmgren hate on the previous page; it’s fair to be concerned about how his body will hold up down the line, but it’s hard to deny how he produces and competes. He’s not afraid to get dunked on every now and then because he wants to contest everything around the basket, and he’s got a decent floor on offense since he’s got an outside shot that has to be respected.

No, he's just got a similar skillset to Bol Bol but plays a lot harder.

not sure about the motor issues though if true that's obviously a problem, but man is he good.

they aren't glaring, but dude has a tendency to float at times. I think it's fixable and the skillset is pretty crazy especially at his size. That 21 class has it all in terms of right now, talents to develop, role players, and stars. As it stands without even knowing the returns and out of nowhere prospects it looks like it can be quality throughout the lotto

and then I'd go some combination of Dante, Moussa or Badji next.

I have watched them all, Dante and Diabate are the ones I am less familiar with, they left for the States before I could see them much

Badji is massive and has awesome coordination for his tools, but he is older than his official DOB and he is a lazo from what I heard

Ballo has been ultra productive, not sure about his age, always doubts there, but haven't heard either way, also massive, fluid, great motor ultra long arms but not all that mobile and can't literally jump, super ground bound, looks to be a specialist off the bench more than an upsidey guy imo

Garuba is the best by a mile, closest prospect to what Draymond Green has been as a player, he is truly special on defense, his ability to apply pressure, move his feet and use his strength, increible quicks, he is already a rotation player in ACB at age 17, and has some tools on offense, passing, mid-range jumper, never gonna be a scoring type though

Sylla is raw as all heck, super talented athlete, rangy, explosive, nice timing around the hoop, but 0 self creation chops at the moment, he is kinda like younger/less filled up Achiuwa

Dieng is one of those guys that I am not sure how he is going to evolve, played PG for France but I don't think he is like super skilled, well rounded but doesn't hang his hat on anything, not sure if he is that esp athletic outside of being fluid for how tall he is, kinda on the mold of some previous frenchies like Batum, N'Doye, Frank,... still only 16, so we will see
