There's something about playing on the road. This team keeps wrecking home teams.

That’s a typical Philly crowd. It’s not completely inconceivable that they would boo them if they win.

Seems like the simple explanation but ... home vs road games.

I think from now on the Mavs just needs to decorate the AAC court with the visiting team's colors and logos.

THJ is such an enigma. One night he is Kobe and next game he is Fultz. I don't get it.

I have to admit, you were totally right about Brunson, THJ, RC, and how Mavs cannot play without Luka. Only 2 wins and 1 OT against those **** eastern teams. It should be 4/0, if Mavs had decent coach, who could utilize Boban.

Congrats Mavs for the great game.

Hah, that's actually a great idea. They just needed more effort in the 4th Q... I'm worried they will play with low energy against TOR because they are missing 3 key players. It is important they finish this year strong.

Seems like the team likes to play on the road more. They bond more when they play on the road. I think the team went out to watch a movie the night before the Milwaukee game too. As opposed to eating at home then driving to the arena when they play in Dallas.

Yup. You're right. That's exactly what I said.

Btw, why do you wait until the game is over to form an opinion? I can't remember you posting in a game thread once while the game was still live.

Kleber was the MVP tonight, imo. Porzingis, Delon Wright & THJ all a close 2nd.

With the exception of Dwight Powell, pretty much everyone played great. Both those 4 stand out.

Kleber ran circles around Embiid tonight. POG for me.

KP was easily the POG, his impact anchoring the defense and grabbing boards as well as getting timely buckets was huge.
THJ is second star (let's go hockey here), he got us out in front.
Maxi third star but he had some absolutely huge plays vs Embiid.

We won that game literally because of KPs Defense. The amount of time Sixers has to reset after running into KP was insane, plus his helping anytime someone came in the paint was elite.

I said it earlier in this thread. His impact is like Chandler back in 2011. Teams see him and change their offense because they don't want to face him. He's active and everywhere, plays good help defense and keeps his guy in check. Grabs boards apparently this year. Couldn't ask for much more.

Ah yeah there is one thing: for the league to actually credit him with the right amount of blocks. Feels like every night he gets short changed by 1 or 2 blocks on the box score.

Without KP on defense there is no win. Already had so many monster games on defense that Mavs would lose previous year without him. He is also getting better and better on offense, his confidence is growing with each game.
It's extra special knowing that NYK fans are getting mild heart attacks each time he plays great. They still can't stop to troll him any chance they get. They really deserve the **** franchise that they have.

Yea his offense is coming around. I’m dying for luka to hurry back so I can see the tandem. This injury could be a silver lining. Sped things up a little

Sixers are 14th in the league in ORTG - basically middle of the pack (Mavs are first).
I'm still wary of the Mavs defense which is league average. Boy, if this team could make its way up into the top-10 in defense this team would really be cookin'

It's funny because watching him when we played the Knicks twice a year in the past I never noticed him much as a defensive player but mainly as a shooter. The Mavs have been lacking a defender like this really since TC left back then.
Agreed, can't wait to have Luka back - who was doing sprints today btw.

....and will be back probably with a new shoe deal as well. :D Just hoping he'll have signature shoes. Will probably sell a ton given his popularity around the world.
