Retire Dwight's Jersey?

Post#1 » by First Take » Sun Dec 22, 2019 6:32 pm

Will the Atlanta Hawks retire their hometown player Dwight Howard for choosing them in free agency? He didn't do much but still had a double double career, made play offs and Dwight won Teammate of the Year award. It's his first time also changing his number from 8. He embraced the whole Gr8t gimmick. I'm assuming it's a no, but curious as to what Hawks fans think.

That'll be a NO, from me.
He chose the Hawks 4 years too late.
He choose the Hawks when he pretty much had no other choice, and as usual at some point complained about offenses touches instead of just rebounding and playing defense.
There was nothing memorable about his short stint here.

No chance.
Maybe the Miami Heat will (joking).

The only team that should retire his Jersey is the Magic.

This is a joke right? He killed locker room chemistry and force Atlanta to eat bad salary just to get rid of his toxic character.
