Graham is a damn stud.

Absolutely STELLAR first Q, probably one of the best quarters of the season. Miles and Martin looked great. Oh, and that Graham guy chipped in too.

Tatum scorching hot. Better believe Batum had no desire to stop him at any point...buddy took his first free throw in 3 weeks tonight. What a robbery of a contract he has.

As much as I want to blame Batum, its really not on him this time. Boston did a great job of just making sure he had a constant mismatch in the 2nd half. Tatum was being guarded by Monk, Graham, and Rozier til he got hot then it was over

He still sucks but this was just team defense getting cooked up

Think we peaked as an 8th seed, lot of tough games coming up.
The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

That’s a good thing. This team has some elements but a long way from really competing in the playoffs, much less making them. We need luck and a lottery pick.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I will never get why piss poor fanbases get rewarded with success. The basketball gods are cruel.

However we need to start losing a lot to get to the top of the lottery.

We got out rebounded by 30. I'm not even mad. It takes a lot to pull that off...

Jalen has a clear NBA skillset. He's been excellent in Greensboro for the Swarm, on both sides of the ball.

Problem with NBA minutes is simple, he is 6'10 and weighs 205 pounds. He is just rail thin to be on an NBA court. He did get 3 & 1/2 minutes in a recent blowout loss at IND, and they were indicative of his current strengths and literal weakness. He made a sweet lay up. Short while later tried the same drive and both he and the ball were too easily swatted away.

Look for him to get more call up time in the spring as the Hornet losses deepen. In the meantime his talent continues to be evidenced in games like last night in the G League Showcase:

James Borrego needs to fall on the grenade and tell the franchise Batum is useless. The correlation between him playing and rhe hornets losing is amazing. Playing him any more than 10 minutes a game is borderline criminal.

You cant convince the young guys that the best guys are playing when you have a guy averaging 5 ppg playing 30 minutes a game. If nothing else, mkg should get those minutes to butter him up for a 2nd rounder at the trade deadline.

They know that Batum is useless. He's a great tank commander, and I'm fine with him helping us lose until his ass is gone the summer of 2021.

There's better ways to tank. Batum is like shoving a knife in the fans. I would rather have a guy give his all and be garbage than a guy not give a damn and be garbage any day of the week.
