Why did Brett have him in so late in the 4th when the game was already decided? Great, now we'll be missing him for one of the toughest stretches of the season smh.

It sucks but maybe it opens up time for someone else to step up. Do we bring in shake? Play jrich more at the wing?..
This opens up a spot for maybe trey burke to see increased time , if we slide jrich to the 3 .

Or maybe just increased time for Ennis.

I think the injury happened with 3:25 left in the 4th. The announcer joked with his good game he should not come out unless the bone was thru the skin. Did not look serious. With young players adjusting to the longer NBA season can be tough; maybe the break will renew his energy for the 2nd half run.

I honestly believe we were over reliant on his production as a rookie anyway. There was aways a chance he would hit a rookie wall , now that hes injured it gives the other players a chance that they might not have had.

If other guys can step up in his place and contribute then its a huge positive going forward. If not its even more proof of the need for another bench piece before things get too set in place .

Wait what. You are blaming Brett Brown for this injury? for having a bench player on in garbage time?

Nooooooooooo!

He was so young!

We never even got a chance to come up with a cool nickname for him! (I saw MaThief mentioned and threw up in my mouth a little bit)

Call me crazy, but i'd love for us to get a good look at Zhaire Smith now that Thybulle is shelved for a month or two. It's not the end of the world for him. He'll back, but someone has got to step up. I am not a big fan of Shake, Furkan might be the answer, but I really want us to get a look at Smith too if that is even possible. Or is he simply still that bad?

Thybulle has a good looking shot and long arms.

Smith is a deer in headlights.

Shake Milton should see some time. Sure we lose defense. But Milton is a play maker. He need more guys to break down defenses.

We know two weeks means at least a month or two.

Would be nice, but I'd be surprised if it happened.
