Portland is also expected to pursue Oklahoma City’s Danilo Gallinari, according to league sources. The Blazers have options to help save their season following the Carmelo Anthony Band-Aid.

Re: The NBENFANT Thread (NBA): 2019-2020 Edition!
OT, but as we are projected to draft Top-10 I think its worth talking about some draft prospects. Right now, the draft is pretty bad at the top, but I really like some of the foreign guys.
Deni Avdija looks like the next great Euro, not on Luka's level but around the Gallo level of prospect. He is tough, athletic and really fluid for his size. Rebounds well too and blocks lots of shots. I compared him to Detlef and think he would be a great fit as a swing forward in Portland. Start Zach at PF but give him the majority of backup C minutes to Nurkic, then slide Deni in at PF.
Another dude I really like is Kilian Hayes, a 6'5 CG who is tremendous initiating the PnR and can defend well. We need a backup, true PG in the worse way and while Hayes isn't a Nico Mannion like floor general, he can bring the ball up well enough and initiate the PnR unlike the other guards (Simons, CJ, Hood, etc). Working on his J, but really like him as a future bench CG.

The Cavs and Jazz kick off the trade season. Jazz traded Dante Exum and 2 2nd's for Jordan Clarkson.

I don't know if death lists are allowed on this politically correct forum. I just watched an interview with Wilbur Ross and that's a guy with one foot in the next life and another on a banana peel. RBG is of course on borrowed time. And, I think Biden goes before Bernie.

Labissiere will continue his rehabilitation protocol and be re-evaluated in four weeks.

Damn, this would have been a great time for SKal to break out. I like for next season a PF tandem of Collins'/Skal. If such would have existed this season, I think the defensive rebounding problem would be significantly meliorated.Matt800 wrote:https://www.nba.com/blazers/news/mri-confirms-skal-labissiere-left-knee-injuryLabissiere will continue his rehabilitation protocol and be re-evaluated in four weeks.

I saw an article of a recent Greg Oden interview where he was asked if he had had knee issues before the NBA.
He said he never had issues until around summer league of the nba. The trainers wanted to correct his leg length, where he has one that was longer so they got him orthotics.
He said that was the start of his knee issues. It's frustrating that modern medicine isn't always great and can really cause some issues. Fortunately the team seems to have improved their training staff since then.

“I got those orthotics and then two days later, my knee was so swollen I couldn’t even put jeans on.”

Yeah, zero sympathy for that domestic abuser.

Whiteside pseudo fans (Nurkic haters) are so toxic, always using Nurkic's injury to trash him in the same way people that hated Embiid trashed him but difference is that those who trashed Embiid weren't Sixers fans .
